I’ve been thinking about the Remedyverse and how much I appreciate that even though all these stories are interconnected, they’ve managed to make each game feel entirely contained. Yes, you can play everything that came before it for an enhanced experience, but there’s plenty of people who jumped into Alan Wake 2 without playing the other games first and loved it just as much as someone who has played every Remedy game under the sun. Maybe they watched/read a summary of events that came before it, maybe they went back and played Control and Alan Wake 1 afterwards and had a completely different but equally satisfying experience as someone who played them beforehand, but I think it’s a testament of how good the writing is that you can enter this world at any point you want. Having said that, I do think it would be SO funny if at some point all the protagonists finally come together in a future game, because so far we've got:

Jesse Faden and her 37 different superpowers (and her extra dimensional guardian angel Polaris)

Jack Joyce Shawn Ashmore Tim Breaker and his totally non copyrighted time and space breaking powers that he doesn’t even have yet

Saga Anderson and her seer powers/pocket mind reading dimension (and possibly her inherited Door powers??)

Alan Wake and his typewriter. He’s a writer. He writes. (he also may or may not have accidentally created the multiverse or whatever)

This was my first time working with leather because I got a burning desire for a bag shaped like a horseshoe crab. It has two zippered compartments, and an adjustable strap so it can be worn at my side as a cross-body bag or on my back more like a backpack.
