Life on the edges: Lila is in Mexico City, on a world tour with her band (okay, her parents paid for the flight on EasyJet and they’re gigging to fund food and accommodation), and rapidly discovering that deals that seem too good to be true are more trouble than they're worth.

But maybe the small-time darts hustler she met last night will turn out to be less ‘trouble in tight pants’ and more helpful in a tight spot than expected…

I all of a sudden want an AU of prince Diego who's this devil may care heir that gets the job done, but handles the dangerous affairs of their kingdom way too seriously that they're all having a heart attack every time he so much as sets foot out of the castle

Enter Knight/Assassin/Body Guard Lila that has sworn an oath to the crown and has been given the royal honor to protect the prince.

Cue in Lila being so annoyed and frustrated with Diego because he's always doing stupid things (for the right reasons and it actually works 99% of the time) and she SWEARS SHE'S NOT FALLING IN LOVE WITH THIS BRAT (younger than Lila Diego, you'll take this from cold rotting corpse) and she is not allowed to fall in love with the crown prince!

Then there's Diego, who initially did not want a baby-sitter because "Where have you ever heard a future king having a baby-sitter at my age?" so he does everything he can to PROVE TO LILA THAT'S HE'S CAPABLE AND DOESN'T NEED PROTECTION, until it eventually evolves into him just trying to impress her into "Oopsie Lila, I accidentally stepped on a pebble and my ankle hurts, I need medical assistance and I know you have a medical background so I need you to heal me pretty please" and he stares at her with those ghorgeous brown eyes and honestly, how in the hell is Lila not supposed to swoon into those sweet baby brown Spanish eyes?

Lila works for delivery company RPS, and has accidentally uncovered a dirty secret that goes all the way to the top of her organisation. She wants to handle it, but can't do it alone, and doesn't know who to trust. And then she sees that one of their delivery drivers, Diego, has been named Union Organiser Of The Year - and she's pretty sure he's based locally...

Fashion writer Lila has always wanted to get into investigative journalism - and now a potential Pulizer-winning story has fallen - quite literally - into her lap.

Diego hadn't meant to pass out, but he's been on the run for 24 hours and is rapidly reaching the end of his rope. Can he trust this woman who claims to be a serious journalist - and why is she dressed like that?

Police procedural, one of those terribly formulaic ones, and ACAB, but somehow you find yourself five seasons in already and hooked, mainly because you're waiting breathlessly for the brief glances that these two characters give each other whenever they're in a scene together, and are praying that maybe, maybe they'll even exchange words...

He wasn't originally supposed to be a main character, and she was only going to have one line in one ep, but you know how it goes, they had good vibes, and you guess the actors were super profesh or got on well with the rest of the cast or whatever, bc they gradually started appearing more and more...and like, is it just the actors playing around to get audience attention, or is the show actually trying to show them developing a romance...?!

(There is a petition to get the showrunners to confirm the relationship. It has a surprising number of signatures, probably helped by one of the actors sharing it on their social media.)

Winter Olympics AU. Lila's a snowboarder, fast and lethal, and this is gonna be her year, she just knows it, her mother has coached her for this since childhood. Diego is in a seven-person luge team, and despite their 'creative differences', they’re the odds-on favourite for gold.

What both of them needs to do is focus. What neither of them needs is a distraction, not now, not when they're so close to their Olympic dreams...

There has been much behind the scenes discussion about what's going on here. Is she torturing him for information? Are they both undercover and trying to sell it? Is she an artist and he's her model? Is he a sexy pirate and she is, idk, a person who ties up pirates?

Roman gods AU: Mars and Venus.

Honestly, I hesitated on this one, because their Greek equivalents are very closely tied to an infidelity story, and I’m not really wanting to touch that right now - but a) Mars is kind of a loser dork obsessed with fighting, but also a father figure, whose sacred animal is the wolf, b) generally Venus is the one in charge in the relationship, she watches him while he sleeps, and she comes with a bit of an aura of manipulation, and c) they are a passionate couple in both fighting, sex, and love. So.
