Social Media Weirdness from Emily and Norman in the Last 24 Hours
So, yesterday Emily posted this:
Then, this morning Norman posted this:
For reference here is the plot for Twin Peaks:
This is a pretty random theme song for Norman to post as Twin Peaks aired in 1989-1990. There are no lyrics to this song. Another odd thing is that everyone thought Laura Palmer was dead for the first two seasons and it wasn't until a third "prequel" season that Laura was revealed to be alive.
Add to this that Norman is filming an episode of Ride In Georgia right now. While it may be absolutely nothing and just a coincidence, I would love it if maybe Emily is filming something for TWD right now.

Love the crew T-shirt for Season 3! Season 3 should be very Daryl focused. I'm not sure what the objects inside the D represent. AI says that they are barrels but that doesn't look bright to me. Any thoughts?

Why did Gabe/Dodge try to murder Kinsey if he loves her??
Well, I asked myself the same question some time ago.. Here's my best answer: there's only two things Dodge really wanted/cared about and that is magic keys and Kinsey Locke. After multiple attempts to get her to join him, and after Kinsey in response tries to kill him and trick him, Dodge is just like "ok fuck this and fuck you" that's my best explanation 💀💀
At that point it was basically self defense and he chose his life over hers. I was still mad about it but he kind of had his reasons I guess. Then he goes and says "why couldn't you just give me what I wanted?!" as if he's kind of feeling bad about having to do that to her but he is left with no other choice.
So in conclusion: Gabe/Dodge couldn't choose between the two things It loved/wanted most. (he wanted both but you cannot have everything in life Dodge!)

Hi! What do you think about the relationship between Kisnsey and Gabe? Missing them :(
Absolutely loved them!! I also miss them soo much, we only got a few scenes in season 3 and saw Gabe for less than 2 minutes. I still appreciated the scenes with Kinsey and it was a cute scene, but it wasn't exactly the same since it was in Bode's body.
This couple was probably the best thing that happened to the show, I'm so glad they changed it from the comics! In the comics Gabe (that is actually called Zach) does NOT love Kinsey, he just tries to flirt with her and manipulate her, he doesn't care if she lives or dies.
A relationship between a human and a literal Demon lol, one of the most interesting things I've seen in TV from a while. It's just interesting on so many levels and I'm sad we didn't get a whole lot of scenes after Kinsey finds out he's Dodge. Just sad he died altogether tbh. But yeah, thank you for sending that in!

I'm still confused about Gabe actually not existing.. I was very disappointed cause I love his character
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't confused too lol, I found out I was dumb through comments under YouTube videos and then I rewatched the show and it was literally so obvious in 2x01 lmao. But anyway yeah, he basically was created using the Identity key by Dodge to manipulate the Lockes, he never existed.
I was also kind of disappointed cause I grew to love his character in season 2, but hey he's still hot anyway 😭
I think the main reason why most people were confused was because of Lucas (that was actually Dodge) But Lucas was a real person, he just got hit by that bullet and that's how he was possessed. Dodge doesn't exist either, the demon just wanted to get another identity since everyone would have recognized Lucas. So at the end of the day you just get hit by a bullet and become a host for the demon, then change face and all with the identity key. You can't randomly get possessed other than with the Ghost key like we saw in season 3 with Bode.
Thank you for the question!

What do you think about the Griffin Gluck controversy? (with Sabrina carpenter and all)
People just want to talk shit and easily buy into rumors. A quick glance on his IG or his fanpages will show literally anyone that he has a bunch of black and gay friends and he is not a fan of Trump, even had a T-shirt about being woke and all that. On top of that, he even attended a BLM protest WITH SABRINA lol.
Liking some memes doesn't make you a racist or whatever. Also cancel culture is so fucking dumb, I'm personally kinda sad he still goes "the woke way" even after being affected by it. For whoever saying "yeah but he didn't apologize" uhmm, are y'all ok? Apologize for what? He didn't do shit and had no reason to apologize to anyone, that's why he didn't. The only reason Sabrina eventually did on his behalf is because she was with him at the time and didn't want to ruin her public image. She basically just saved herself lol. And we don't even know why they broke up since they didn't give an actual reason, people just assumed it was because of "what he did", I personally think it was to preserve her public image.
And there's some rumors about her song "Bad for business" being about him, honestly seems like it fits. But who knows right? There was definitely some bad blood b/w him and Sabrina anyway because of that story he posted with Driver's license from Olivia Rodrigo. But I'd be mad too if someone broke up with me to preserve their public image lol
Thanks for your question!

Why do you think there is a possibility for locke and key to be renewed? It was cancelled and the creators said 3 seasons were enough to tell the story
Good question! So basically yeah they did say that, but they also ended the show with whispers and all that, and people like to say "that is just a fun way to end the show, a lot of shows/movies do similar stuff", but why do that when Bode 2 seconds earlier said "you guys hear that" ? It doesn't really make sense. What I got from that ending is this: Bode says that because he's hearing something but it's not clear or loud whispers as usual, so he then just shrugs it off cause it's impossible and probably just his mind playing tricks on him, right? BUT, we later hear clear and loud whispers reminding us the magic is still in the "meat world" lol.
I do not believe that is for nothing honestly.. for me it's way more obvious that they did that in case they changed their minds or maybe wanted a spinoff or whatever.
Also remember the snowball sisters? They teased that since half season 2 and ended the storyline in like 3 episodes(?) maybe less, like really? You're telling me that was it?
I did not read the comics but asked a few people on socials about it, and keep this in mind.. they changed a lot of stuff from the comics, Especially the ending!! In the comics the keys do not get destroyed, (I don't remember what happens instead) but that isn't even considered. Kinda weird to me they decided to change it and destroy the keys, I don't have an explanation as to why they did that. But the point here is: they changed important stuff from the comics. They were trying to tell the story from the comics, in their own way. So what they said about "3 seasons are enough to tell the story".. let's just say I don't really buy into that, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure there's some things from the comics that were not explored in the show at all. Plus it would not be hard to come up with additional interesting storylines, there's still a lot of unanswered questions about the demon world and probably other things. And also: if they wanted to tell the story of the Lockes in 3 seasons, why change the ending? How a story starts and ends are very important things to consider for any show/movie or even book. For me it was kind of open ended, I could be wrong of course but I hope I'm not so that we can see a season 4!
Another important thing to keep in mind is that it was The creators who cancelled the show. When it comes to Netflix shows it's usually Netflix taking these decisions, it's very rare for producers to just end the project like that. I think this holds some importance, not sure exactly how but I have some ideas: wanted to stop the show before netflix could - why? might have been to have more time to figure things out for the show and think about what storylines they could have explored instead of rushing and ending up with a slop, like season 3 ended up being. Maybe they knew a writer's strike was close and didn't want to take any risks. I don't really know, but what I do know is that the show was awfully underrated and did not get close enough to other famous shows on netflix.
I'll end this answer with something I found on reddit some time ago:
"Not certain if it's accurate - but in one of the flashbacks the first locke to make keys says how if the lock and key are made of the same material then it'll have power. The lock and the key of the black door are all whispering iron, and that's how it's able to work. It would make sense that the locks on the doors (in the house) that the keys can use are also made of whispering iron.
So even though they got rid of the keys, the whispering iron is not gone from the world."

Hey, I just wanted to ask what you thought about season 3 and the whole Dodge possessing Bode storyline, especially the few scenes shared with Kinsey..
Also, it's nice to see new pages about Locke and key even though it came to an end! ^^
Hello there!
Soo, first of all I think season 3 was kinda disappointing. I mean it started off pretty good, but then went downhill, it felt very rushed and was clearly made just to give an ending to the show.
I LOVED seeing Gabe even if it was just for like what 2 minutes? But anyway, I personally liked the evil Bode storyline, Jackson actually did a great job! But of course I didn't like the fact that Dodge just went *poof* when the time went out. They should've found a way to let Dodge stay somehow, but that's another story.
Regarding the interaction between Kinsey and Dodge in Bode's body, I honestly really appreciated it. I know a lot of people found it weird because it was in Bode's body lol but it was still a sweet moment. I also really liked the parallelism of the Angel Key!! The fact that Dodge still got worried for her was like 🥹 I think Kinsey appreciated that too and was probably kind of surprised. Definitely interesting but was cut short! I sincerely hope we get another season or even spinoff or something to see more from Kinsey and Dodge (hopefully in Gabe's body lol)
Thank you for your question, I hope I gave a satisfying answer!
