Deus Ex Machina

At the last moment of the battle, what came across Luciella's mind was what Lucifer told her -Survival is the most important matter. She witnessed Michaella running in front of her and calling out her name. She did not let out a scream even after her body was totally shattered, because she was a war machine after all.

We were born to be a pawn for the war of the gods - that was the last word from Michaella. But where was the king responsible for the pawn? Why did Lucifer instill fear of death in me? Why do I have to feel this pain? She could not remove the feeling of a cold blade slashing her. Should I regret my ultimate fate he caused, the failure to survive?

Despair and regret surged up within her. She could realize that the cause of their defeat was disgrace and wrath against the god who had abandoned them, but her eyes could never open again as if they were sealed tightly.

Nothing will stop her rage when she is awakened for the second time.

Arthur: Where are we? This place looks new. I don’t see any monsters around here, too!

Clara: I told you this tower is creepy. Are we going up by the way?

Luciella: I still remember the day I opened my eyes for the first time. Our father was behind the bright light and Michaella sleeping by my side. And one mission carved on our mind…

Michaella: Get rid of Gramaton in place of Sariel, the fallen archangel. That is our ultimate mission. 

Michaella: Anything that lies in the way must be destroyed and obliterated, even if it’s ourselves. 

Luciella: Aren’t you afraid, Michaella?

Michaella: Of what? What is there to be afraid?

Luciella: The future where you will never open your eyes again.

Michaella: I don’t understand what you are saying. Such feelings do not help me carry out the mission.

Luciella: Carry out the mission? What becomes of us afterwards?

Michaella: …?

Luciella: And that was the cause I had.

Luciella: What’s going to be left for us after the war?

Luciella: We are merely pawns designed by our father. The false god who came down on a machine to resolve the twisted reality.

Michaella: At that precise moment you made a crucial mistake because you were seized by the fear of death. I witnessed you fall as my eyes glazed over.

Luciella: Oh Lucifer! Why did you inscribe fear on me?

Luciella: Why would you give me such disgrace?

Arthur: Interesting! This tower is filled with so many secrets! 

Philip: Don’t let your curiosity ruin everything, Arthur. 

Clara: But who knows if they have the information of the hidden treasure? 

Armeria: Right! Or we can possibly find the clue to Erakis!

Philip: More likely the clue to the top of the tower. 

Arthur: Whatever it is, let’s go find them!

Dicer Set #3

Luciella Machina ★★★★

“I will… remember this.”

A legendary dicer who fought a war in the past. She is the daughter of Lucifer and seems to have some memory after the defeat, unlike Michaella who's forgotten everything. For that reason she seems to cling to Michaella, since only she's left beside her. While Michaella keeps a pure desire of destruction, she ironically feels the desire to live, similar to human beings. She's looking for someone to repay disgrace she had at the time of defeat.

“What is it that I lost?”

A legendary dicer who fought a war in the past. She only remembers Michael and Luciella's name, as if most of her memory have been erased. She doesn't even recognize how she's related to the two names. She believes that they are the keys to her memory and is looking for them. Even though she looks friendly, she is obsessed with instinctive attachment to destruction as her memory has been erased.

The Gambler and Financier of the Breakers.

The 2nd wealthiest person in Priden. Has a cool personality, but is petty and vindictive when wronged.

Along with Poseidon, Amphitrite became the protector of humans, ruling seas calmly and often violently with her children.

However, the vortex of abyss was about to devour dearest children. Even her mightiest wave could not stop it. She might be able to demand an explanation for such incident, but the truth of the defeat scathed her even more since she already knew the answer. Despite the situation she gave herself to the flow of the vortex, in order to save all life under the sea.

Dolphin: You were safe! I, Dolphin, have returned safely as you ordered, my Lady! I’m glad I can serve you once again.

Amphitrite: Dolphin! Thank you all for holding out until now. 

Dolphin: Poseidon… Have you seen him yet?

Amphitrite: No… Ever since I lost my power I can’t see where he is. He might have the same problem, too. At least I’m happy to reunite with you.

Bluekoom: As long as we are with you, we can find Poseidon and all others sooner or later!

Redkoom: Let’s bring them back and get revenge! 

Amphitrite: But we need to recover our power first. Perhaps the humans here can help us.

Dolphin: You mean the fighters of the tower. 

Redkoom: That Gramaton, I find him very despicable ! He exploits ordinary humans on this kind of matter!

Bluekoom: Exactly. Come to think of it, I also feel sorry for both Evil and Libe…

Dolphin Navy ★★★

“I swear I’ll protect them!”

A legendary dolphin from ancient fables. According to the story, the gods and goddesses of the sea highly favored her because she connected the sea life together with those who were lost. The gods had her work closely with them and even named a star after her. After that, she ruled seas and waves together with god of sea, but was locked inside the tower due to someone's greed. As everyone has been torn asunder, she believes that her duty is to find Amphitrite and return home to her family.

Bluekoom Cuba ★★★

“The sea nurses everything!” A legendary water fairy. She was drawn into the tower along with her young sister, Redkoom, while she was following Amphitrite. She has as generous heart as sea that nurses every sealife. Before she was drawn into the tower, she used to save people fallen into the water, but now she feels sad because there's no one to save. She's wandering around to find Amphitrite.

Redkoom Cuba ★★★

“Dare to ignore me when you’re born from the dirt?”

A legendary water fairy. She was drawn into the tower along with her older sister, Bluekoom, while she was following Amphitrite. Unlike her sister who's gentle and kind, she is arrogant and rough as a raging waters. She even shows off her arrogance by wearing an eyepatch, giving her sister much anxiety. However, she stays as a tiny little fairy to Amphitrite.

Amphitrite Nymph ★★★★

“My children… Where are they?”

A legendary goddess of sea. She ruled all water fairies together with Poseidon and protected adventurers. It was common to see a ship with her figure carved. As human faith in her started to cover the entire sea, she was drawn into the tower by a mysterious force. She's looking for other sea fairies who have also been drawn in with her.

She is the archmage Calladium’s apprentice. Cute and hardworking, she seeks out the truths of the principles of the universe.

Deal with the Devil

What do you desire? Humans have an endless desire, sought by the devil lurking around them. Nina gained something she'd always wished for by entering a deal with an unknown man, while Faust gained a bizarre, deformed arm through another deal. Suspiciously enough, Nina willingly helps Masters who enter the tower, while Faust watches her from behind.

Only the two would understand what their true story after regaining their memory is, and what they help the Masters for.

Faust: Hahaha, no wonder. I’m really looking forward to that day.

Nina: His righteous choice will await. After all, human beings are selfish. 

Faust: That’s something unusual to hear from an ex-human?

Nina: I’ve already forgotten those days. I only serve the one I must. Both Evil and Libe are under his control.

Faust: But, do you really think it will be done at his will until the end?

Nina: Don’t say that again, Faust. When will you realize that you’ve been failing to understand him? 

Faust: Nonsense. I believe that everything is determined from doubt. 

Nina: How pathetic. 

*tower shakes*

Nina: !

Faust: !

Faust: … Must be a new Master. Go ahead.

Nina Rubycape ★★★

“Everything comes at a cost.”

A legendary dicer who sealed a deal with the devil. Dealing with the devil is known to be the greatest sin, and yet, she carried out the deal despite the fact. Only Faust may know her true intention. Currently she's helping Faust because she troubled him during the deal. She is often seen searching for something within the tower.

Faust Lich ★★★

“What is it that you know? Tell me!”

A legendary Dicer who entered a deal with the devil. He infiltrated into the tower to gain knowledge of the tower. He's unable to return to his original shape even after he's recovered his memory, whether it's due to the deal with the devil or he's an uninvited guest of the tower. As a result he has a grotesque left arm. Nina helps him out on problems caused by his arm. So far he doesn't have plans to escape, since he's constantly testing his power in the tower.

Let’s Go, Breakers!

The Breakers is a mercenary group lead by Arthur, joined by Armeria, Philip, and Clara!

They went into the tower in order to rescue the princess of Priden, Rachel. Although they quickly found the princess, they ascended the tower in order to uncover more secrets.
