it was a tempting offer and though she knew that the library was rigged with surveillance, she knew the spots that werenât caught by the cameras. and if they happened to be, itâs not like they were actually checking those. teeth dragging across her bottom lip as she let out the smallest of whimpers, her eyes met his once more as he retracted his wandering lips from her neck. just like him, she was trying her best to remained collected even when she nodded her head. closing the distance even more between their lips until they were only inches away from each other, she whispered, âiâd like to see you try.â
logan simpered at the invitation as he tightened his grip and brought their hips together. he licked his lips as his eyes traced her features, down the smooth line of her nose toward the plump red of her mouth, then back up to the dark irises that he would have gladly sunken into. leaning his forehead against hers, he nearly did just that, could practically taste her against the edges of his own mouth whenâ
âhello?â
the sudden and unfamiliar voice sent him a half-step back, the hand around her waist dropping as the one that had been against her neck moved to adjust the collar of her blouse. his fingers grazed the slightest, pink blemish on her skin before he cleared his throat and spoke loudly in half-subtle diversion. âitâs a shame that the materials i was in search of are no longer available.â

âthere is? that sounds pretty coolâi might have to check it out!â aurora exclaimed with a grin gracing her lips as she nodded her head. she wasnât even surprised at how easily one can decode that sheâs a freshman. perhaps, because she still looks at everything with excitement. âthank you, sir!â only when he began to explain did she realize that he meant the pocky stick, which also made her own cheeks flush a little in embarrassment for not quickly processing the jest. âoh noâitâs not you, itâs me. i mean, iâm not very good at that kind of stuff and iâm a little slow so thereâs that,â she added with nervous chuckle as she munched on her own biscuit.
âi hope that you do. and if not the classics department, perhaps that of physics and astronomy? itâs a little bit of a stretch from your current major, but given the circumstances at present...â his voice trailed off as he looked back up to the sights that she had marveled at so intently. âthere are as many possibilities with your time here as there are stars in the skies.â raising his shoulders, he let out a soft laugh and ran his free hand against his nape. âah, letâs say itâs both of us,â logan reassured, waving his biscuit in the air with his motions. âiâve been told several times that i have the âhumor of a deceased fishââ well-dressed, but still deceased. besides that, you certainly donât come across as âslow,â not with how quickly you corrected me earlier.â

âthereâs a major for that? i wasnât even aware!â rory exclaimed a little too loudly than what was appropriate before shaking her head. âand no, iâm actually majoring on english students. so far, so goodâbut who knows? i should have just taken general education because i really donât know what i want to do yet,â she continued to babble on, always sharing more than what was being asked of her. sheâs always been pretty open after all. âoohhhâyou do get it hard as well. i wish you the best of luck in grading those papers and exams.â when he reached out to pick a stick from the box, her own brows furrowed a little when he held it up and said something about smoking. âsmoking? why so? thatâs just a chocolate covered stick,â aurora pointed out to him, a little slow to process his joke.
âthereâs a specialty within the classics department,â he confirmed with a nod. âiâm actually well-acquainted with one of the professors there. i, ahâ i take it youâre first-year, then?â logan was not intent on being presumptuous, but he had heard similar words spoken from the students in his introductory classes, comprised primarily of underclassmen. âand i wish you the best of luck with writing all of the papers and exams.â he nibbled at the tip of the chocolate-covered biscuit, his saliva getting caught in his throat at the moment she voiced her confusion. coughing lightly, he stammered to explain, âoh, iâ yes... iâ that was a jest... not a very good one, might i add, so thereâsâ itâs no issue that it didnât come across as one.â

astraeashqâ:
upon their arrival at the entrance of the fair, her eyes have managed to light up like a child just been told of christmas coming early. so many choices they could choose from. unlike the bar where they saw each other, this was definitely more of astraeaâs scene. when he finally spoke again, the younger woman shook her head with soft laughter bubbling from her lips, refraining from sticking her tongue out at him childishly. âyou wishâiâm pretty good with these games, okay? but to start us off nicely, how about we go find a cotton candy stand, first, and recharge?â the brunette suggested to him as she already began to walk into the plaza where they were holding the fair. though she couldnât really say no to the challenge, she wanted some sweet to fuel her up since itâs been a few hours when she ate her dinner. catching sight of one, she reached out to grab his wrist and began pulling him towards the direction of the stand. âi see one over there!â
logan voiced no protestation, instead allowing her to pull him toward wherever she wished to go. as soon as the sign for the floss-like treat come to view, however, he used his free hand to reach into his coat pocket and retrieve his wallet, then stepped ahead of her to greet the counter attendant. âmy treat,â he explained simply as he passed a bill toward the apron-wearing fellow. his eyes followed as the other person approached the massive, round machine to gather two small clouds, one pink and the other baby blue. when they were presented back, logan motioned for astraea to take her pick, unable to hold back a further tease. âdid you want anything else? or are you keeping it light so as to not become nauseous while youâre losing?â

âconstellationââ aurora corrected with a grin, unable to stop herself from doing so. âcassiopeia is a constellation and from the sound of it, it seems like she has been named after the right queen. because cassiopeia, in greek mythology, is definitely a firecracker,â the blonde babbled on as her eyes wandered back to the beautiful night sky above them. though when he answered her question, she couldnât help but answer, âand here i thought weâre the only one who gets tired during this season.â stretching out her box of pocky sticks towards him, she offered, âdo you want one? you look like you need it.â
âconstellation,â logan repeated, nodding once. âiâm almost ashamed to admit that iâm not as familiar with greek mythology as i probably ought to be. is that what youâre on campus for? greek studies?â his eyes never once left the night sky. the longer he looked, the more did he wish he had similar knowledge to follow along. âi believe itâs the timing. many students are given at least a few days to write a single paper or study for one test; meanwhile, the professors must prepare the materials then review them for grading.â his brow furrowed as he took note of the box. realizing its actual contents, he reached out and picked out one of the biscuits, holding it up and joking, ânow i donât make a habit of smoking, but perhaps this one time wouldnât hurt.â

he was most definitely teasing her now, especially with the way his mouth continued to trail down the expanse of her neck. and the brunette happened to have a soft spot when it came there. with one hand moving to her nape, his own rested against his hipsâjust staying there without pulling him even closer just yet. she could feel the warmth spreading across her body, shuddering a little as she felt his tongue against her skin. âcontinue doing that and i might not be able to stay quietââ she whispered under her breath as she clenched her legs together, his teasing already having an effect on her.
âthen donât,â he muttered back in the smallest space left between his mouth and her skin. the corners of his lips curled upward at the slightest vibration, and he took such as a sign to reconnect, this time on a collarbone that lay exposed from her blouse. he sucked on the skin briefly, then nipped at it once before moving once again. âiâd like to see if you can fill every empty shelf here,â he confessed in between every peck that now traveled upward. after a final one against the bottom of her chin, logan pulled back slightly. their lips were close, his efforts channeled into maintaining composure as he asked, âwhat do you say?â

âI am sorry to break such sorry news to you but I guess is just best to know now that you can still do something about it.â She played along âWill do, and there is a spa near here and Iâm sure they have rejuvenating treatments too.â She took a bite of her food thinking and saw a basic panting on the wall, who put it there, who knows but clearly it was a bit old âLike that painting⌠can you see the deeper meaning on it? You think og is just flowers but are they really?â
âAt least youâre honest,â he countered, âa true rarity in todayâs world. What does the term ârejuvenating treatmentâ even mean? Massages andâ I donât know, perhaps those warm steam rooms? A facial?â His eyes traveled from her toward the frame at the corner of his peripheral. With brow furrowed, he thought for a moment. âThe flowers are... Simple. They could be a... Well, theyâ fair warning, Iâm not an artist by any meansâ but they could be a message. Beauty being found in the simplest things, or something along that vein.â

she was already running lateâŚÂ something the australian beauty was best known for. and although she knew she would probably be looked down upon for being late, alex absolutely needed her morning iced coffee to get through the day. the blonde made her way out of the campus coffee shop as she shuffled through as many people as she could. alex was almost going to be on time, but the skateboarder that was heading her way had other plans. the iced coffee that she swore she needed ended up all over her new blouse, and pieces of ice inside her shirt. alex put her hands up as she looked down at her blouse covered in iced coffee.  â perfect. now iâm going to be picking ice out of my bra all day long.  â alex started to laugh out of pure frustration as she looked down her blouse and bra picking out tiny ice chunks.
âhey, watch out!â logan called out as loudly as he could manage, but his efforts were far too futile, far too late. he winced as though he were the one being doused in the brown liquid. without a further momentâs notice, he jogged toward alexâs direction, pulling out the handkerchief that had been settled in one of his inner pockets. âi would greet âgood morning,â but, ah...are you okay there?â he nipped at his bottom lip as he offered the piece of fabric forward.Â

andi-warrenâ:
Andi wondered why on Earth she had to take an accounting class to become a nurse, but here she was struggling through it all. She was reluctant to go and get help, but she was past the point of caring, she needed her grades to improve. So she bit the bullet and signed up for some extra tutoring sessions. Perhaps someone could help her understand all the numbers and formulas that looked like nonsense in her head. She quickly gathered her books and headed towards the office of the professor she was seeing for tutoring. She knocked on the door and greeted the male with a warm smile. âHey there.â she waved.
@loganayer
âAh greetings, Ms. Warren! Please come on in, have a seat.â From where he sat, comfortably at his desk, Logan gestured toward a small seating area with a couch and a coffee table. He had been struggling over how to utilize the campusâs online library services and this visit was a much-welcomed break. Shaking his head at the screen before him, he minimized the tab, then stood up to move closer. âHow are your studies?â

âOkay good you caught that one. But then tell me, which is the best filling then?â He asked in his best lawyer voice, like he wanted to take the confession out of someone. âNo one has ever said that, and everyone knows the first is always the best thing.â He was a little surprised by him wanting to talk more about family, so he arched an eyebrow âOkay?⌠Did you got anyone pregnant?â

âThe answer to that is a very long and complex one, dear sir. Are you truly willing to sit and be subject to listening to it?â Logan raised an eyebrow, referring to the reality that he could speak for hours on end if prompted. âAh, no one in your generation ever said that. Itâs a relatively young saying,â he joked, even though their age gap was only four years. Chrisâs question caused his mouth to fall agape for a long moment. âJust how reckless do you take me for?â

âi, ahâ my apologies... i may well-acquainted with your professor and decently-knowledgable with what he teaches, but... i donât believe that would be quite ethical.â logan stared back with uncertainty over what else he could do. it wasnât uncommon for students to approach him for assistance, but the present matter was... unique. âperhaps i can get you in touch with a student tutor?â

âYou tell me. Youâre the one that goes around asking things you should know. at least you didnât ask filled or no filled because there I would really wonder what is going onâ He teased his younger cousin lightly âWell because granny has great taste and she always had a thing for the first things in life.â Honestly their grandma was lovely and played no favorites.Â

"Thatâs such a blatantly obvious, trick question. Not all fillings were created equally,â he replied, shooting back an incredulous look. Then, he crossed his arms and took a more childish route with his response. âClearly she had never heard of the popular saying: first the worst.â Although the topic at hand made him feel sentimental, such warmth faded at the reminder of one other reason why he came to visit. âSpeaking of family, however... Iâve, ahâ I have a bit of a situation in my hands...â

âDistracted? And whatâs that supposed to me?â Jacky smirked at him, arms crossing over her chest. âNo no, come in. I just finished grading a stack of papers, I could use a good break.â
âWho can think of communications when there are other matters in the class that could be studied?â Logan joked, taking a few steps forward. âThere are two matters; Iâll begin with the more boring one. First off, do you happen to know when the next meeting between Department Heads is? I seem to have, ahâ I underestimated my capacity to use a phone calendar properly...â

âalright, i get it - no college talk.â bowie nodded, itâs not like he minded, he kept the work talk at work and just kept his life separate, if anything. âiâm not exactly one, with the words. logan but i guess you get the picture, right?â he rolled his eyes playfully with a smirk, pressing the lock button on his car before flashing his id at the door, groaning at the fact he even still got carded, even at the age of 25. âwell, consider me your wingman dude.â
ânot for the rest of the night; weâre out to have a good time, even if there are a handful of bumps along the road,â logan declared, referencing their small hitch at the door. he pondered if he should issue a spoken assurance that âyouthful looks will seem like a godsend at a later age,â but the thought dissipated somewhere under the flashing lights that they walked into. he squinted slightly as an overhead spotlight hit his eyes. âand I for you... where do we, ahâ where should we begin?âÂ

âOf course Iâll write you a long list of products and steps you must follow, but I guess in the end we can only hope that they help a little. Some things are just hardâ She said fake sighing âI think it would yeah, and you could pull it off too.â Truly the man didnât look in the slightest. âA mysterious answer? Like.. watch closely and youâll get it?â
Logan let out a chuckle then. âI didnât think that I was that much of a lost cause, Ms. Fitzgerald. If so, please feel free to double that listâ perhaps even send a handful of links for video how-toâs in my direction.â He paused his eating for a moment, crossed his arms, then tapped a thumb to his chin thoughtfully. âYes, that could work. Another possibility would be something along the lines of, âWhat do you think the deeper meaning is?â Reflect the question back on them.â

logan turned around, rather startled by the request. âah, ms. royce,â he began, his shoulders loosening when he identified who it was. a hot dog was hardly worth the effort of argument and he would gladly follow the request. a glance at her expression, however, took his consideration further. âhow about i order it for you? and whatever else youâd likeâ my treat.â
sylvie clicked her tongue. â low? on hot dogs? at only nine pm? â on the end of a twelve hour shift, hunger quickly seeped into anger & cravings only worsened the severity. she addressed the person before her in line, â hey! if you donât order the last one, iâll buy you a beer. â

âto be hand-delivered immediately: copies of the latest forms...
Loganâs steps toward the Deanâs office were slowed as he skimmed through his list of requested paperworks. While many others sent assistants for tasks such as this, he preferred seeing to them himself. His attention was so focused on the words before him that he didnât take note of the pleasurable sounds echoing through the doorway nearby. This remained the case until he tapped softly on the wood and stepped into the small room.
âMy apologies foâ oh.â The sight sent a chill down his spine, but blood rushing everywhere else. The warmth in his cheeks was exceptionally strong as he stammered. âIâll, ahâ I canâ should come back later.â
It was an idiotic thing to do, requesting a sudden breath in the middle of the day, but Waverly was in harsh need of some release. She skittered to her small office, just outside of the Deanâs suite, yanking up her skirt, and splaying over her desk. She didnât have much in the way of an accessory, so her fingers would have to do, and she hooked them inside of her, moving them ferociously quickly.
It was unfortunate, and unnoticed, however, that in her haste, the door had not closed the entire way, and the sound of her gasps, however quiet, were fully audible from the hall. Her body undulated against her hand as she lost herself briefly to primal need, desperate and so fucking naughty.
Dear God, this was what they wrote books about.
