SAME, i cried watching tao's apologize and i cried while seeing them together again 😭😭 tao looked kinda surprised and nervous idk

literally… I never thought we’d see Tao and Kris in the same room let alone hugging each other and smiling and laughing together and I know some of y’all weren’t around for the falling out and the ignored apologies so you don’t truly understand just how big of a deal this is but I’m honestly surprised that Earth wasn’t knocked off its orbit around the sun with the sheer magnitutude of that hug and everything that led up to it

the first time you were told you were going to be doing yifan’s makeup for a photoshoot, you were really nervous

his laidback personality was often misconstrued as brattiness, as he didn’t speak very much in interviews and such

you were worried he would make your job difficult by failing to acknowledge your presence or even make a snappy remark. everyone who’d worked with him seemed to have something negative to say, which really worried you

however, upon meeting him, he was rather casual about the whole ordeal, as opposed to the arrogance you were expecting

he looked as though he’d just woken up and yet he was still the most beautiful person you’d seen in a minute

evidently, he wouldn’t really pay you much mind; he’d be more focused on doing his job

frankly, i don’t really think much of a friendship would blossom out of the blue, if at all. he just wants to do him, while you’re way too awkward to spark up a conversation with someone new

so like just letting y’all know this won’t be abt romance xoxo

anyway he’s super bad about getting incredibly bored in between shoots, so he’s grown very fond of candy crush jelly

since he doesn’t wanna look like a “pussy,” he refuses to actually spend any money on gold bars, but he’s desperate sometimes

while swiping blush onto his cheeks, you’ll look down and see him searching “candy crush cheats” on safari

yeah he definitely goes into his settings and changes the time to refill his lives

idc what y’all say he defo watches foodie beauty and amberlynn reid edits on youtube in his free time

it’s gotten to the point where he’ll be waiting for directions during a photoshoot, zoning out so bad all he can think of is “beauty bite!” or “instagram dietician”

it’s even worse when he’s on his phone again and you catch a glimpse of what he’s watching. god forbid you question why he’s viewing a 580+ pound woman eating burger king

fun fact i got the idea for this au while watching a compilation of chantal’s paranoid ass eating in her car ☺️

the first time he properly speaks to you (aside from your initial greeting, of course), it’ll be to ask something dumb

“is there, like, a speaker or something?” he’ll ask curiously. in response to your raised brow, he’ll add, “don’t worry, i don’t listen to any whack shit.”

and all he plays is the mixtape he made one night while he was high

it won’t even be good, but he swears up and down he’s going to break into the music industry, so you’ll be forced to listen to it

“at least you’re pretty,” you’ll say to yourself, not expecting him to hear you

“sorry i have taste,” he’ll reply teasingly

most of the remaining time it takes everyone on set to style him, he’ll be mumble-rapping along to his own track

he’ll be getting swatted at by the clothing stylist for trying to move his arms and shit in time with the beat, which will result in a brief sulk session

watching him look in the mirror afterward, you’ll catch him sighing as he gently tugs on the end of his hair

you won’t be able to hear it, but he’s grumbling “i’d rather be bald” to himself, since he’s been reminded—yet again—about how much he regrets cutting his hair 😛

once he’s in front of that camera, he becomes much more radiant and malleable

every order from the photographer is followed precisely, even the stupid shit like “turn your head .7 degrees left and half-close your right eye”

typically, you won’t even watch the photoshoots themselves, but there’s just something about him that draws you in

you figured it would give you an opportunity to see his smile in person for the first time, but it turns out the big cheese was more interested in having fan stare at the camera and look rich for most of the shots

despite such restrictions, it’s amazing how he finds his own little ways to bring his personality to life in the pictures

honestly, you’ll be so captured by his charisma and charm that time will FLY girlie!!

before you know it, you’ll be packing up to go home. kris will probably be nowhere to be seen (cos he’s getting food somewhere in the building), but you’ll notice a little slip of paper sitting atop your makeup bag

written on the paper (which is just a tattered gum wrapper), will be his phone number, along with a little message
