reblog and make a wish! this was removed from tumbrl due to “violating one or more of Tumblr’s Community Guidelines”, but since my wish came true the first time, I’m putting it back. :)

Invest in Your Physical Health
invest in your physical health and physique/appearance. I don’t mean trying to reach a certain number on the scale, investing in surgery, or trying to attain unrealistic standards. Investing in your physical health is about making the time to exercise and cooking whole and healthy foods at home. Invest your time and be dedicated and give back to your body for all of the hard work it does. ultimately , you will thank yourself. Eating healthy and exercising boosts confidence and security - not necessarily because your appearance has changed but because you made a goal and you stuck to it and you are taking care of yourself 💞
stop wishing and start doing - go be the you you’ve always wanted to be. You deserve to give yourself this.

I know we all love Firefox but reminder that incognito mode does not hide your IP address. It just blocks trackers. If you use incognito mode to, say, reserve 100 seats at a fascist event without any intention of showing up: the fash now probably have your IP address. If you put protest reports on social media: the feds now have your IP address. Etc. To actually go incognito, use TOR or VPN or Tails. To make your social media account actually incognito: never log in without TOR or VPN or Tails and never link it to other social media accounts of email addresses that are not incognito. (& always assume that your identity can still leak. No shield is foolproof. If being found out could mean getting arrested: do not put it online at all.)

[id: screenshots of tiktok captions. the images say, “but the only reason we still love princess diana is because she did not have the time to disappoint us.”]
begging queer kids to read up on princess diana’s involvement with the community. yes, she was a rich, pretty monarch. yes, she died young.
but the reason why queer people love her is because she used her privilege during the aids crisis to advocate for sick queer men, when very few others would - much less someone of her status.
diana spent years advocating for the health and care of queer people with hiv/aids. in 1987, at the height of the epidemic, she opened the first specialist clinic dedicated to treating aids patients (the first clinic of it’s kind in the uk).
she also fought public hysteria by hugging and shaking bare hands with aids patients, at a time when aids was thought to be spread by skin to skin contact. not only that, she visited patients in the clinic regularly and even comforted them through their sickness.
and when queen elizabeth told her to try focusing on “something more pleasant”?

diana ignored her and kept fighting.
and this is only her work towards the aids crisis. she publicly called out the royal family, brought attention to numerous world issues, and was known as an advocate for empathy and kindness. she’s known and loved as the people’s princess for good reason

That post about death note being "everyone's first anime" (untrue statement) made me curious and now I want to gather data for science
Can you reblog this and tell me where are you from and what was your starter anime?
