i wish transing your gender was as easy as getting a haircut. like i wanna walk into a Gender Stylists shop and show the lady a picture of the gender i envy and be like, "that, can you do that?" and she'd be like "yeah" and then one hour later i'd have a new gender that's not quite what i asked for but close enough for me to not complain and just fix it at home. i want to search for gender references on pinterest and get reuploaded tiktoks of people being like "omg 360 your gender pls so i can show my gender stylist when i go on tuesday!! 🥺" i want me and my bestie to be in the bathroom together at 1am extremely stoned and giving each other new genders that are objectively terrible but still kinda wearable
I saw a post talking about how we shouldn't celebrate when organizations, people, countries and etc make changes to be more accepting towards minorities or make changes that would better the world because "they should have already done that."
The ideal world we want, where everyone can live a kind and nice life, isn't going to happen in one massive swoop. It is going to come in tiny steps over many, many years. And guess what? We should celebrate each step we take. Each time something changes for the better we are closer to what we've all been dreaming of and that is something worth celebrating. If we refuse to find happiness in small victories, we won't have the strength to make it to the end.
So throw a party with some of your friends when your city council installs bike lanes. Go protest outside the shop down the street for being bigoted. Kick Karen out of the neighborhood group chat and go out for dinner with the rest. It's worth it not just in the end but to you in the present. You should, and need, to celebrate small achievements.
Joy in the face of oppression is rebellion. Kindness is rebellion. Community is rebellion. Compassion is rebellion. Looking out for your fellow human beings is rebellion. Self care is rebellion.
In this system that encourages individualism and isolates us, love on a platonic, communal, societal level is rebellion. Connection, unity, joy, solidarity, it is radical. So be kind. Be compassionate. Do good things for your fellow working class people. Do good things for yourself.
It’s one step further towards a better tomorrow.
it is revolutionary to exist. it is radical to persist. there is no higher purpose than being your most authentic self. your presence makes a difference in the world. the fact you can read this message means you have come so far already despite it all. you are never truly alone in your efforts. you deserve to take up space and be different. people do care about you and want to see your true self. we can change attitudes and end oppression through solidarity and mutual aid. we can fight for a better world together. in a world built from hatred and violence, the bravest thing to do is to love.
I have good and bad news. Bad news first: turns out shrimp don't actually see extra colors, that's a myth. On to the good news: gay & trans men/mascs have been proven by science to be able to perceive a kaleidoscope of glorious expressions of masculinity imperceivable to the average cisgender heterosexual man. Researchers are calling them shrimp genders.
THESE ARE SO COOL!!!!!!!!!! I am saving these for later so that I can draw more of my trolls in these lovely lovely pretty colors, but for now here's a liiiittle doodle of my two most beloveds in their fun outfits :D!!!!!
Im sorry im so bad at uploading things to tumblr....

Below is a google drive with literally everything Ive created for this project
The designs and color palettes are based on my own interpretations of the aspects and their classes. The rage aspect changed the most since I believe their powers are based upon all emotions and not JUST rage. So their color palette is meant to represent overwhelming emotions with two opposing colors that are very bright.
Oh also, these are 100% free to use and change for whatever you want for any reason at all! I don't care!
