Surprise! a Websurferz post, finally. I wrote some background for these three since I'm into writing familial relationships recently.

So yes! Even the websurfers have lore to them, ha. They don't seem like the types of characters to have too much lore to them, and they don't have as much as say the NBAF or IU characters. But they still have a background, this is one of my main stories after all.

So! Starting with Microchip and Vista, the two internet meme wives.

Vista was created way earlier than Microchip, following the popularity of the "Epic Face/Epic Smiley" meme in 2003. Similarly to Derpina's creation, she was created as a female version of the epic face. She was alone for a long time, but she made friends with the default computer assistants at least!

Though Vista had existed since the early days of 2000s internet and had her assistant friends, she was still lonely and bored. But even during those quiet years, she stuck around in the corners of old forums and obscure fan-made animations.

Then, in 2008, everything changed when Microchip was finally uploaded.

Microchip, being more wired-in to the chaotic humor of Rage Comics, burst onto the scene with wide eyes, sharp sarcasm, and the unmistakable chaotic energy of mid-2000s meme culture. She was derived from "Derpina", sure, but she had developed her own personality; clever, playful, and quick-witted, often using old error messages and Comic Sans on purpose just to get a rise out of people as a way of being cocky.

Vista was in LOVE. She had never thought there'd be another meme-created extension. She was shy around the new extension at first, but Microchip loved Vista's sweet nature so much she pulled her into a hug as soon as they met. The two talked a lot, bonding closely from being meme-derived ladies...and then of course, they started to fall in love with each other due to their relateable personalities to each other and mutual playful nature.

Of course, the web kept evolving, and with it came new computer extensions. Characters born not purely from memes or comic panels, but from the blurred line between software tools. One such creation was P1X3L, a digital assistant who emerged sometime in 2009.

P1X3L wasn’t exactly planned like the meme wives were, she kinda came out of nowhere after Clippy's failure. She started off as a side project, one of those quirky customizable desktop companions coded by enthusiasts who wanted something cuter and sassier than someone poorly regarded like Clippy, but not as invasive as BonziBuddy. She had sleek, blocky animations and spoke in emoji-heavy syntax, and had a sillier, wittier personality. Microchip and Vista loved her as soon as they saw her.

Microchip took to P1X3L immediately. She loved her spark, her refusal to act like a perfect assistant, and her trolling sense of humor. They began calling her their "little byte" and dragged her into their chaotic computer family.

Nyxa's new friend [story under "keep reading" tab]

It had been exactly a week since Nyxa and her mom were pushed into this new world. She didn't know what was going on at all, and it was all too much for her to process, and she wasn't shy about crying from nervousness about the whole thing. She didn't have a problem with bats or vampires, but she certainly didn't expect to be forced into their living space.

Her mother was currently preparing a food dish of sorts, all with foods a vampire would like. Strange... Nyxa peered over the countertop curiously.

"What're you doing mum?" she asked. Corvenia looked down at her daughter quickly, then back at the food.

"Oh, just something for a friend of mine, love. We're going to visit him and his little daughter today, remember?" she said gently. Nyxa scrunched up her beak. No, she didn't remember.

"...Little daughter?" she asked, a monotonous change in her voice. "Do I gotta go with you...?" she said quietly. Corvenia heard the second comment, took a second, and sighed.

"Nyxa, you'll love her...and her dad. I promise. Mr. Finnegan's a real jolly man and his little baby is the sweetest." Corvenia tried reassuring Nyxa, Nyxa calming her annoyed expression a little but still having a pinch of skepticism. Nyxa stayed silent for another few seconds before asking another anxious question.

"You're not gonna pay more attention to her than me, right?" she asked, crossing her arms with a slight pout. Corvenia stopped wrapping the food platter for a second and looked down at her daughter before picking her up.

"Now, why in the world would I do that?" she asked, Nyxa avoiding eye contact.

"...'Cuz she's a baby." Nyxa said, still pouting. Corvenia always was quick to get gushy over babies, she couldn't help herself. But she was the gushiest over her own.

"Nyxa, sweetie, no one's replacing you. I think you'll love Finnegan's little girl and get along with her just fine, you'll be best friends, I know it. No one's gonna pay attention to one over the other, all right?" Corvenia nudged Nyxa's cheek with her beak. Nyxa looked over and smiled.

"All right, mum." she said, finally kind of convinced. She did internally want a new friend, even if this whole "being shoved into a new land" thing scared her half to death...

Corvenia rang the doorbell to the small house of Finnegan Grimm, not waiting too long before he answered the door. Nyxa shifted her feet. Her little heart was racing...she was always nervous around new people.

"Corvenia, old friend!" Finnegan said joyfully. Nyxa got a good look at Finnegan while he gave greetings and small talk to her mom. She had never met him before, but she felt kind of at ease since her mom knew him. His joyous nature definitely also helped.

"...And who's this little lady? Is this Nyxa?" Finnegan said, kneeling down to her height. Nyxa shyly clung to Corvenia's leg, nodding when Finnegan asked his question. Corvenia nudged her more towards him in efforts to make her seem less anxious.

"Well nice to meet you, sweetie!" Finnegan said, offering his finger for her to shake.

"Go on, sweetiebird, say hi to Finnegan." Corvenia said quietly. It took a second, but Finnegan's warm smile helped Nyxa get a little 'hello' out as she finally shook his finger sheepishly with a smile.

"Nyxa was actually wondering, Finnegan, if she could play with Nellie." Corvenia said. Nyxa looked up at Corvenia with confusion as she knew she didn't say that.

"Oh, sure! She'll get along with little Nellie just great! She's been waiting all day for ya!" Finnegan led the two birds inside, Nyxa immediately noticing a small, smiling vampire sitting on a pillow. The little vampire seemed to notice her back, an excited little glow in her facial expression.

"Go on, sweetie. Say hi to Nellie-Bell. I have to help Mr. Finnegan now." Corvenia said, gently nudging Nyxa to go say hi to little Nellie-Bell. Nyxa breathed in nervously, but then went over to Nellie and sat down a small distance from her, awkwardly. She didn't know what to do around babies, let alone a vampire baby. Nellie noticed her, cocking her head curiously.

Nyxa played with her feathers as she fluffed up nervously. Her mind was scrambling on what to say to Nellie. What do babies like? What do vampire babies like? Is she scared of crows? Can she smell my fear or something? This is impossible!

As her mind started to go blank, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Nellie crawling towards her. It startled her for a second since she wasn't expecting a baby to take to her that fast, but then Nellie stuck her tongue out playfully. Nyxa couldn't hold back a laugh, that was cute.

"H-Hi, Nellie." Nyxa managed to get out, smiling at the little vampire. Nellie made a noise in return, of course unable to say full words yet. Nellie then rested her head on Nyxa's leg, still with her tongue out. Nyxa laughed. "Yer really cute." she said, patting Nellie's head.

In the background, Finnegan and Corvenia noticed their daughters having their first interaction. They smiled at each other, having known these two would have an incredible bond together.

This one as you can probably see is mostly about vampires and the bat-creatures/bat-people are small potatoes here, I'll probably do a more in-depth page about them! (I had Lily and Trivia drawn but then I realized I didn't portray them in any other part but the fang part so I'm planning on doing a bat-creature/bat-person one later! Right now they're just here for comparison to vampires.)

I'll also probably do one about Batsborough/Vampirimalias culture and how humans interact with/see these guys!

soooo yes Nellie and Callie are cousins! Their dads are brothers. Nellie rarely got to see them her entire life since. Lol Aber Van Hellsing is Aber Van Hellsing...also evil queen lady in Vampirimalias restricting Callie, Damon and Jr from going anywhere. Mean and nasty people being mean and nasty.

Buuuuuut after all that junk they do get to see each other! A lot! Both of them are very curious about each others' lives.

(I originally was gonna draw Damon and Jr too but I figured they'd hang out with Baxie if he was there since they're all goofboys. Don't worry though! They also like Nellie's company.)

miku's two contrasting designs! decided to draw this for the vocaloid AU I'm writing lol [lore stuff under keep reading]

Miku was very timid when she was first invented. She knew her purpose was to sing, but she was the only one of her kind at the time, so she was scared she would've made a fool of herself. As I mentioned in my headcanon post, Meiko and Kaito were failed vocal synth robots that were sold to Vocaloid's company after their own went bankrupt. Having experience, they helped Miku overcome her fear of singing in front of people and convinced her that she was in fact good enough to impress the public.

Noticing Miku becoming more confident over time, Miku's designer reinvented her to have a more confident and polished appearance now that she got the hang of her purpose. She was given a more "happy" appearance and given brighter colors to reflect this. (Kaito and Meiko also helped form her personality since they were the first ones she met when she was invented.)

sooo...Katee! She's new to IU and I've never introduced her any time else but right now. She's Bonnie's rival lol. [Click "keep reading" for more insight on her!]

So this lady! Meerkat lady. As I said, she's supposed to be a sort of rival to Bonnie. Bonnie doesn't hate her but she's deeply annoyed by her. Reason being? Katee's constantly critcising Bonnie and never shuts up about how great she is at her job. She does this sometimes maliciously to Bonnie considering good ol' Bonnie is praised by the doctors and is well-liked by her patients while Katee usually pisses the patients off and is only ever so well-regarded by Nathan. She gets really jealous of Bonnie really easily and of course, takes it out on her.

Her reasoning of being so critical is to look like a good noodle in front of Nathan, but Nathan being Nathan he could give less of the finest shit. Bonnie will say the nicest backhanded comment she has back to Katee since she's afraid of actually hurting Katee's feelings (funny since this damn meerkat is constantly on her over bullshit and her retailiating would be justified).

so yesterday someone asked me about how my villains would get along with each other and I mentioned this lady here: Corrosia! She's ET's villain lady. More info's under the "keep reading" button :]

Now now, Corrosia's actually nice! ...To people who agree with her. No, okay, Corrosia will be nice upon first approach. Inviting even. But she's a busybody. She really REALLY wants to know people's opinions on spaceflight and Corrosia's very opinionated and gets pissed if someone disagrees with or challenges anything she proposes on her page or in real life. She really does want to be liked, but goes about it really...really wrong.

But as her bio stated, her online prescence gives her a big following and lots of respect for being a "Earth loving green thumb" (surprise: she could give less of a shit). She uses that necklace she's wearing as a good way to tell people "see? I care!" and wears it as a badge when it's more of a sheild.

She's also a really good manipulator! Like really good. She'll honestly make you feel very bad for her saying "no one cares about me or my efforts to save Earth and now I'm sad" (even spray her face for some fake tears) and she does this to Nora a lot, someone who loves space and looks up to Fatima, Corrosia's second main target. She's so hellbent on this that she'll try scaring Nora by telling her that SIFA can and will eventually be the cause of her and Earth's deaths. (Girl wtf stop that's a 14 year old) Hell Corrosia's gonna go so far as to use Lori's incident to scapegoat Fatima to give the reason "oh man SIFA sucks one of their attendees almost died see how bad it is shut their asses down NOW". Spoilers: Fatima and Nasir weren't the the cheif astronauts back then, Corrosia's dad was.

TL;DR: Social media lady pretends to like Earth but doesn't and hates space and is mean.
