also in my opinion more discussions of feminism should be less focused on "wow! this girl became ceo" even though that has been an accomplishment at many points, and a lot of fields continue to be male dominated (really cis white male, and that modifier is important because intersectionality). but a lot of what's important is what's happening in other countries and the women who are afforded fewer opportunities than their male counterparts. the capitalist machine which takes advantage of them. this isn't including certain statistics in the western world, because those also matter, but it's more broad than we often discuss online

I went on a spiral last night about non-cis-male esports, it's just so fucking unfair how slow things are going from a viewer's point of view... I know things are happening behind the scenes, but like, I have been following women's league for years and in terms of content, we need to count on the players themselves or on a few tweets/video from esports player foundations.

The orgs have so much power, the sponsors have so much power. They could create an actual viewable mainstream tournament, why not add a segment in one of the already made tournaments?

God I want to be 10 years in the future already, but I don't want to see all the pioneers go into retirement before they can compete on international stages...

HLE have to win this because LEC people are going to try to act like this tournament is in any way important if KC win it, and then LEC will be even more unwatchable than before, but everyone, casters teams and players, in LCK are all fully understanding that this tournament and the prior qualification tournament are a waste of time and will know to just move on and forget this farce ever happened
