Loma Prieta / Raein - Split

Our 246th feature of the year is a split between the always-dischordant Loma Prieta and the striking Raein. The American quartet contributes three short, rousing original songs and a Black Flag cover; Italy’s Raein contributes one cut about love and war, performed (and titled, “Amore E Guerra”) in their native tongue.

Before and after the gig with Loma Prieta

Spent the evening with Loma Prieta during their Cambridge stop. After the gig there were some drunk women searching for Michael Myers road crew, who we were lucky enough to fill in for. Brian photographed our friend Casey for a project he’s working on.

Managed to also catch Loma’s set at Fest this year. Probably my favorite set I saw. Later that night I ran after them to buy an LP before they left for the airport.
