Although both sensors are based on the 35mm film format, the complete form is typically more extensive than the Super 35. If you don't know what pixel pitch is, it's the space between pixels measured from one pixel's center to the next. The higher the pixel density, the higher the resolution, and the smaller the pitch. With a larger pixel pitch, the pixels are separated by a longer distance, resulting in a poorer resolution. On the other hand, higher resolution does not automatically imply superior quality. It is found in the LOMO ILLUMINA.
