The volcano in Santorini’s Caldera. The yellow area near the boats is where the sulphur springs are. They spread quite a way and when there is no breeze you can smell it ashore too.

Fascinating visit to the archaeological site at Akrotiri yesterday. But really overwhelmed by the intense humid heat of a whole day without air conditioning. Today, I think I’ll stay in my cool room and watch the royal wedding. Then maybe visit the archaeology museum to see the finds from the site. (at Akrothiri Santorini - Ακρωθήρι)
