"Christianity, like most religions, works with fear. Sins can be confessed and you are "clean again" and can start to sin again without thinking about your old sins. We believe that people should ask themselves why they sinned. They should show some responsibility."

- Gidget Gein - (9/11/1969 - 10/8/2008)
Iconic artist, Gidget Gein, has always been at the forefront of important movements in art and music. Edgy, fearless, and unrestrained, he pushed boundaries and he wore his demons on his sleeve. In his short life, he cleaned up South Florida crime scenes, was the original bassist, songwriter, and co-creator of Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids, founded the experimental group The Dali Gaggers, and shaped the UnPop and GaGa art movements. Gidget solidified his place as one of LA's most notorious self-taught artists.
His celebrity portraits depict Hollywood scandals and celebrity controversy in the vein of Kenneth Anger's famous book. His Blaxploitation series boasts reverent and irreverent nods to a dark part of our culture that spans from the early minstrel shows to "Black Power" films. Gidget's perspective on pop culture never disappoints. Filled with uncompromising wit, keen insight, and a scathing dark humor, his paintings are a relevant commentary on our idol-worshipping society.

Resident Evil Instrumentals List
The full list on the source just brought to Tumblr by me, no changes made. :)
The Red Queen
This piece was one of Manson's favorites, and he described the inspirations behind it at length. It begins with a childish waltzing melody drawn out of Alice and Wonderland. That film has inspired much of Manson's work, especially The Golden Age of Grotesque. It then mutates over time, to what Manson described as "Alice In Wonderland inserted into this terrible world of decay and biological warfare." It's far more menacing later in the track, as the Red Queen comes back to the main characters, informing them of their impending doom.
Resident Evil Main Title Theme
This song is quite modern, following exactly what Anderson was looking for. After all, the film is edited in an extreme way and lit in an even more extreme way.
Seizure Of Power
The sort of style Manson employs in the movie's action scenes defines this song, as he puts it - "That, very electronic, very rigid metal guitars that are couldn't possibly be played by a rock and roll band was completely electronic, completely cold and emotionless and just violent." According to Anderson, "because it so electronic, it gives the kind of grind, the kind of relentlessness of what zombies are." The music doesn't stop, much like the zombies.
Reunion
Parts of this song are downright spooky. And this is intentional. As Beltrami added, "For instance, if Nell was walking down a empty hallway, you want to play the ambience of that. It could either be a sound effect type of thing, or it can be a musical thing that borders on a sonic representation of that." In the song, Manson also experiments with some high pitched sounds. As he stated on the featurette, "I'm a big fan of also what frequencies do to people, much like when a dog hears a high frequency that we don't hear." The editor's minature poodle certainly discovered this. When they were laying out Manson's tracks, the dog started going completely insane.
Cleansing
This song was one of my favorites. In fact, I actually choreographed a martial arts routine to it. This draws on many of the same sounds that are seen in earlier pieces, especially the rigid metal guitars from Seizure of Power. At the same time, Manson drew on filmmaker David Lynch for inspiration, especially for the drums.
