oh another good one, there was a guy who was borderline parasocial. followed me on my main, asked me to buy him video games despite me never being mutuals with him, kept asking for face reveals and going "if i ever met you-", and one time asked me what my gender is and proceeded to explain my own gender back to me. said explanation being "maybe it's because you're not old enough to be a woman, but youre legal, so you're not quite a girl" after I explained to him that my gender is just Me and I wasn't really questioning that. and then proceeded to call me a woman for the next week. he was fun.

god actually. ok so my account was lil dudes daily. I'm sure there's probably another guy taking the mantle now but mine has a gooey pfp and probably much more delightful commentary. anyway i posted lil dudes (so, mostly marketable little guys, as well as some other ones i just liked) as well as their pronouns and names. and at one point I got a really oddly accusatory comment on one of them because they had to scroll a long time to find a she/her or they/them (which are not actually too uncommon they just weren't paying attention I think) lil dude?? and they were asking me like I was in charge of this. if this were not twitter this would have incited a very interesting conversation about how the more marketable and mascot-ish a character is, the more likely they are to be seen as male of some sort. but no. this was my fault. obviously. because I control the mascot design didn't you know
