marginalized men: i don’t like jokes about hating all men. i recognize where they come from but they make me feel unsafe. the way im degraded for my manhood’s interactions with other identities doesnt mean that women have it easier, but i would also like to feel safe.

butch transmascs: yeah i had to fight for my masculinity to be accepted and am still struggling to find room in feminist spaces without having to be butch and trans and a man. i need that activism and i’d like my experiences to be considered by people in that space. i dont like being treated as a gender traitor or lesser now that ive transitioned.

16 frame shooting star animation. January 2022-September 2024 Needlepoint

Frames from my shooting star gif. 16 frames total. Each frame is 8x6.5 inches on a 10” mesh. Designed and animated in photoshop and needlepointed by me. I started drafting this 1/14/22 and finished animating it 9/25/24. It took approximately two years and eight months to finish. This is one of the largest projects I’ve ever worked on and I’m very happy with how it turned out.

Five Nights at Armand's Update (September 11th, 2024)

Ok so i had a VERY busy day today but i managed to grind out the title screen in the past hour and a half or so. the images are just place holders that i thought were funny so dont worry about that lol. there isnt any functionality on the title screen yet so i will work on that when i can (maybe tomorrow but i have some other ideas i want to start as well) so now onto the "main" part:

throughout the day i scribbled down some math shit and i think i figured out how to do cylindrical perspective warping to make a 2d picture appear 3d. it's hard to see in the picture (it's sort of visible on the left bc you can see curved warping) but the image is being "wrapped" around a cylinder (sort of). so once i make make some actual art for the game, i will use this method to make it appear semi-3d.

anyways, that's basically all i have for today. tomorrow i want to start on the camera system and maybe fleshing out the title screen a little. if you have any ideas/suggestions feel free to leave a comment or ask and i may add it. thanks for reading!
