Its funny how, when you have anxiety, other people's chill is like...contagious. Like I'm always stressed out, high-strung, running around like my hair is on fire, especially at work. Roman's considered at the 'chubby' kid back in highschool

This motivated him to loose weight

He met Virgil in the gym - the boy was packing up about to leave

Roman just stares at Virgil, cause like - Virgil's pale and skinny

Virgil noticed that someone was staring at him

Roman just blushes and ducks down

Virgil just plainly and blankly tells Roman to "fuck off"

Roman is just *offended noises*

They bicker

Get kicked out of the gym

They glare at each other

Then laugh

'great way to meet your future love'

Roman offers to buy some coffee for them

Virgil agrees, cause like - CAFFEINE

They introduce each other and boom! ✨Friendship✨

Next day - Roman and Virgil decided to meet up to a new gym and help each other out

Roman explains to Virgil why he wanted to go to the gym and vice versa

Each day they would meet up at the gym, talk for a bit, lift weight and all that jazz they do at the gym, exercise and shizz, talk more, ✨drink water✨, and all that

End of the day, they would part ways

This would go on for weeks until Roman starts to catch feelings for Virgil but just thinks that it's a STRONG platonic feeling

Theeeennnnnn - angst time

Virgil tells Roman that he has to go - family shit - and isn't sure if he will come back to their town

Virgil leaves, not before thanking Roman for helping him.
