They're gay your honor
âUgh, thereâs so much work what the heck⌠We still have so much to do Connors..â A tall woman with straight brownish-black hair says.
âItâs so dang late, why do they still give us so much work?â A man just a little shorter than the other with blonde wavy hair named Connors says, âItâs the holidays! They should give us time offâ.
âOh come on Connors, you know dang well why we canât just walk out. We work for PHA(Philippine Airlines), remember? Christmas is literally when everyone has to work overtime just to get work done,â said the tall woman.
âOkay okay, fine. I get your point. I just want to spend time with my family. You also want that, donât you Alfred?â Connors asks.
âYes, of course. There's no doubt I do, But I want them to live a comfortable life so Iâll do everything I can, at least for now, so I can achieve that,â said a woman named Alfred. No one really knew her home life and all of her co-workers assumed she provided for her parents, she wasnât open about her relationship considering how controversial it is for the Philippine government. âAs much as I want to spend time with them, I canât provide them a comfortable life while spending time with them considering the things we have to do for our job. Now stop talking and letâs get this work done, okay? I wanna finish this as fast as possibleâ.
âFine, wanna get drinks after this?â Connors asks.
âJust one drink alright?â Alfred replies.
Two hours pass by and itâs already 2 am, âFinallllyyy weâre done holy crap, Iâm honestly surprised they let us stay here for so long.â Alfred says, letting out a deep breath and slouches in her chair.
âWanna get that drink now?â Connors asks, sounding tired.
âMaybe next time, I want to go home and sleep.â Alfred replies.
âAwww, but itâs on me.â The blonde man says with an exaggerated frown on his face. Alfred smirks and begins gathering her belongings, saying goodbye to her co-workers and preparing to leave. Rush hour started, but it didnât take too long to arrive home since she lived very close. She was so exhausted when she returned home that she just wanted to pass out. She returned to an empty room, so she assumed her lover was with their child again. Heaving a sigh, she got dressed and went to bed.. It took her some time to fall asleep, but when she laid down, the desire of quitting came to her. She did not enjoy being alone on one side of a large empty bed after arriving home so late.
The next day, she woke up in a great mood. It was 9 am and she heard laughter coming from outside. She got up to check what caused the noise and saw that it was her partner and their kid laughing together. She smiled at the interaction and decided to surprise her beloved by hugging her from behind.
âGood morning, my lovely Mon! And Lisaââ Alfred said in a cheery manner, kissing their foreheads lightly.
âYouâre awake! Good morning, love.â responded Mon, a woman with long wavy brown hair. âOk Lisa, go sit at the table while your mom and I finish making breakfast,â Alfred says pointing towards the dinner table, âSo what else are we makinâ today, Mon?â.
âHmm, aside from bacon and eggs Iâm not so sure. Got any ideas, Ro?â Mon asks Alfred whose nickname was âRoâ.
âHmmm I kinda like the idea of bacon and eggs for breakfast. Let me make rice.â Alfred says. Mornings with long chats with her family were the type that Ro missed. Although it became a blur to her, she adored these mornings and wished they would last forever.
Two days passed by too quickly. Soon, Ro finds herself traveling to work at 7 a.m. on a Monday, exhausted.
She dreaded the days of having to leave early to assist customers with their reservations, from 7 am to 9 pm. The only long-lived happiness in her life happened during her well-deserved holiday break. This was the only time she could spend long days with her family, but the work was important for the steady paychecks.
At last, the day went by quickly. For once, she was allowed to go home early after finishing her work early. After polishing some of her afternoon work, she packed her belongings, said her goodbyes, and then departed. Even though it was still extremely lateâaround 8 o'clockâit was earlier than when she usually clocks out. Because of the light traffic, she arrived at her house around 9 o'clock and was greeted by the aroma of her girlfriend's cooking. She adored the food that she prepared, particularly her adobo. From the door, she had a clear view of the kitchen. Lisa was sitting at the table eating while she watched her mother prepare dinner.
Ro said, âHoney, Iâm home!â making a reference to the commonly said phrase.
Both Mon and Lisa looked to the entrance, both shocked yet happy at the appearance of Ro.
âSomeoneâs home early.â Mon says while smiling from ear to ear.
Lisa dashed to greet her aunt at the door. âYouâre home! Itâs been a million years!â The little girl said with so much excitement.
âThat's a huge exaggeration Lisa, I saw you yesterday.â Ro said.
âBut yesterday is a long time, tita!â Lisa said with an exaggerated frown and pulled away from hugging her aunt.
âI promise I will try to get home earlier.â Ro said with a smile bending down to her daughter's level, patting her head. She stands back up and walks to her significant other with open arms.
Mon walks towards her giving her partner a loving embrace. âCome home early like today, yeah? Iâve missed you.â She says with a loving smile on her face.
âIâve missed you too, Mon!â Ro replies with the same look.
Dinner was full of chatter, which lifted Roâs spirits since she came home. Being an absentee partner and mother, with a tiring pattern of having to wake up early and getting home late, her family missed having her around. Unfortunately, the pattern doesnât end until the end of the holiday season and that's at least a couple more weeks.
The holidays passed by in a blur and Ro began to grow frustrated with how much work she has to do. A co-worker of hers quit recently, so more assignments went to her.
This was the moment Ro knew that she hated the fact her job took so much of her time, she wished she could have more days like her Saturday mornings. Then thatâs when it hit her once more. She was not tired but fully aware this time.
She should quit her job.
Ro enjoyed being able to interact with others for work, but she doesnât enjoy how time-consuming it is and how much it stresses her out. She wishes she could see her daughter more often and see her smile every day from her lover.. She knew that her partner was a little hurt every time she wasn't home by 10 pm. She wanted to see her, just as much as she did. Not only did she have to work late nights but also had to hide the fact she had a girlfriend in public. They thought of going to America to get married, but Ro hasnât been free to properly plan it. After hours of non-stop working, she finally finished at midnight and she couldnât wait for tomorrow morning to tell her significant other. It took her about an hour to get home due to the traffic, but once she got home she started drafting her resignation notice.
Finishing an outline, she went to bed with a slight smile on her faceThe pleasant moment of being able to spend more time with her family helped her sleep better.
The next day came by and she couldnât wait for work to be over to tell her girlfriend the news she was about to share. Since she finished the bulk of her work last night, she was able to leave work two hours earlier that day. The sun was still setting and traffic was as busy as ever. As soon as she got home, she opened the door, surprised to see no one in the living room or kitchen, so she went to her partner's home office and saw Mon there. She waved at her and Monâs eyes lit up with so much joy.
âYouâre home so early today, hun,â Mon says, grinning from ear to ear.
âMon? Can I ask something?â Ro asks, slightly nervous.
âWhat is it, my dear?â Mon replies, closing her laptop.
âWe might need to sit for this,â Ro says while leading her to the couch. âI was wondering if you know, if you were fine with the thought of me quitting my jobâ She says as she looks away.
Mon is shocked at the statement for a while, but she then smiles and says âI will support you in any decision you make, if you think this is the right decision for you, then do it. If it doesnât make you happy, donât do itâ.
Ro smiles at her statement. âThank you, I promise I will find a job that can support us and also give me time to spend with youâ She says as she holds her lover's hand.Later that day, Ro starts to write her resignation notice, as Mon cooks their dinner.
During dinner, Mon and Lisa approached Ro and gave her a tight and loving embrace. Their night went by with laughter and joy and Ro realized that she is happier with this choice, having those dearly-missed Saturday mornings every day for at least a couple weeks or months till she finds a new job. For a while, Ro knows for sure she will be happy with her family at last and she wouldnât have it any other way.

Tartaglia x Zhongli
Northland Bank in the pouring rain. Childe was gripping the doorknob that lets him enter the Northern land Bank and thinking whether or not he should stay and hear whatever Zhongli has to say or go. With that going on in his head, Zhongli looked as if there was much remorse and regret. Both of them were drenched from the rain, their only shelter being the roof above the entrance of the bank. As Zhongli spoke, he noticed the man in front of him shaking a little bit, his eyes widened and he opened his mouth to speak but as he was doing so he saw the former man trying to open the door but very slowly as if he were hesitant. The former archon then spoke up and said âI always wanted to be with you Ajax..â slightly choking up, he sounded very sad and remorseful. âAnd you said you appreciated me, and that you loved me. Guess those were also another one of your lies, huh?â said the 11th Harbinger as he tilted his head a little so he could see the Archon just from the side of his eye, clearly hurt. The ginger-haired man couldnât stop his voice from shaking as he said that. He wanted to leave the brunette right then and there but there was still this part of him that wanted to hug the man not caring about the freezing rain or anything around them. But he saw that the man was clearly distressed and in shock so he decided against it. Ajax faced the entrance to the bank and gripped the door handle and said, âGoodbye Xiangsheng. I wish you well.â said the ginger as he entered the bank. Zhongli put his hand out and tried to say something but nothing came out from his mouth, just shaky breaths. The brunette knew he made a mistake, he knew that he fucked up. He shouldnât have lied to the love of his life for that long. All he could do was stand in shock as the rain started to pour down harder.
This is still incomplete, so heres the first draft :))
