For two full months, there is going to be "Fluff vs Angst" event. Starting on 1st June and ending on 31st July.

Do not worry, you shall not face the threat alone. Your fellow faction members and you shall battle together against the every present threat of either drowning in angst or getting jump attacked by fluff.

This event is held on LCF Cafe discord and everybody is welcome to participate. (Don't worry, we don't bite~)

There is no mandatory ship nor prompts that you must follow, and yes, crossovers are allowed.

Writing is like having an argument with myself and I am losing badly.

You know the feeling when you are motivated and have time to write? Yeah, ecstasy, I know. But then, with a vision and the exact scenes in my head, I get to work.

Problem, after a few minutes I look down and spot text - which is something - but has nothing to do with the story I actually wanted to write. A new idea just crashed the party and took over.

So here we are with another prompt, another idea that will haunt my dreams, and more work, which I will definitely distract myself away from anyway.

But hey, at least, somewhere in the future - probably - you will not only get a Cale and God of Death story but also a random Percy Jackson and LCF crossover with Cale and Apollo, because why not.

At least, both ideas have gods and Cale in them. Similarities.

Here is the snippet that crashed my brain and created a whole 12k plot document. You are welcome.

“What are you?” Apollo asked in a low voice.

His form stayed still, resembling one of the many marble statues found of him across the continents. He looked more human than the cold stone images. More handsome as well.

The glint in his eyes, on the other hand, displayed his divine nature. Eyes like molten gold, gleaming with power and the historically proven cruelty to cause a bloodbath. The God of Medicine and Healing, yet also the God of Plagues.

It was amusing to Cale that this god managed to look more menacing than the literal God of Death.

“Nature,” Cale replied, mockingly.

Apollo repeated through gritted teeth, “Nature?”

Cale shrugged.

“Pan has faded,” Apollo supplied with a snarl. He didn’t have the time to play with a wannabe-god, not when one of his children was in danger and he could do nothing. His father’s orders were absolute, even to him.

“He hasn’t,” Cale said.

“What would you know?”

Sighing, Cale gave him the answer he was seeking.

“I am nature, and Pan is a God of Nature. Not a ruler, but someone under my realm. He is with me. Recovering.”

A scream interrupted their conversation.

Hello, my name is Horizon and I am a fellow writer. I am hoping to write a Lcf book but I’m not sure where to start or how to begin. I have ideas for a book but I’m unsure how to jot it down as I don’t want to accidentally mess it up if I ever publish it.

ohhh, that is a hard question, but as a rule of thumb, go for it. It's fanfiction. You live your creativity and if something doesn't work or you feel like your skills aren't enough, you learn from it. Everybody starts somewhere and every milestone you achieve is worth celebrating.

If you have the same name on Discord, I assume you joined our server. Chatting with people, getting a beta reader, and just exchanging ideas or finding motivation together is also a fun way to get into writing.

As for how to write it down. Do you mean medium? Google Docs are free and allow you to save your work/ chapters. I don't recommend writing on Wattpad or Ao3, since if they delete your story/ time runs out/ guidelines were broken etc., you will lose all your progress.

As for techniques, ah. There are more out there than sand on the beach. You can try what feels right. From jotting down notes, making clear scenes, winging it, and more. Try them out and see what you feel comfortable with.

I, for example, write down everything I can think off for the new story, starting with bullet points which I then will make into rough full story outlines. If I feel satisfied, I will move on to checking if the plot makes sense, if yes, yay I can write, if no, time to brainstorm.

Nothing is wrong, some are just easier for you to use than others. "Messing up" is in my opinion not a concept in creative writing.

The writing area on our Discord also has some roles you can ping for help or chat with other writers about scenes/ ways to write/ ideas and more.

Hi :D In your 'Matchmaking Attempts' reaction fic, do u plan on making the cast react to Cale being dropped to Earth 2(?) by the Sealed God as a test? If so, wut do u think of transporting the ppl of Earth 2(?) to react w them temporarily?

(I just rlly wanna see Tcf's reaction to Cale being in pain die to being yeeted to another world and then straight up being kicked to a wall by Park Jin Tae and co)

Hihi^^ the arc with Earth 2 will get a full reaction, don't worry. As for the characters from Earth 2, that is a bit more complicated. I don't remember much, character wise, and fear that I wouldn't be able to portray them right. If I use them, I will research them first again. But so far, no ideaXD

In summary, definite yes to the whole arc, and no idea to the Earth 2 inhabitants.

When Choi Han and Choi Jung Soo were fighting Yoon, a blue blood member and blood cultivist, Choi Han said that:

Didn't they just upgrade from Fake Arm to Fake Hunters cause they once again follow the principles of stealing the enemies' names?

Sure, the reason is different, but now I can't get Choi Han saying, "We are the Hunters," out of my mind, while he acts badly and wears a knock off Hunter uniform. Ahahahaha.

(Also, I haven't read further yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if that scenario actually happens)

“Hey Dongsaeng, do you by chance want to be the Prime Minister?” “…….” Cale looked at Alberu with a gaze that made it seem as if he truly had been wronged. It was Alberu’s turn to flinch. Cale’s complexion looked good since his return from the Central Plains, but seeing this extremely hurt gaze tugged at his heart. “…That was so mean of me.” Alberu apologized and Cale happily accepted it. “Yes, your highness. That was too much.”
