Beyond comprehension of anything I could have been aware of my life is turning into the dream I once imagined and stared through from a broken window. Inside the school building I moved because I had to, so now I can move because I want to, and I love to. Tumblr you have seen me at my worst and this is my best please I love you never forget I love me and the cool breeze of the city air is blowing softly on my skin and reminds me of the subtle moment of safety we feel as kids. I am safe, I did it, there is no going back, it was all supposed to happen this way!!

A turn in the transition and regaining myself back. I went without for so little time but it felt like an eternity. Let me not get ahead of myself. I’m eating black eyed peas that taste so good

I just saw a video in my time of mindlessly scrolling of a 300 year old tree naturally falling due to old age. And simply, I can not help but think of just how beautiful that is. And how reassuring it is, to know that I as a human am so similar to this tree and one day will fall the same, is less humanizing and more of a reminder that I function within the natural state of earth. I actively participate in and function, not as a human (as a seperate entity), but as a vulnerable existence based on growth and change that will one day fall over. The tree is just my cousin I forget to talk to.

Accepting life as it comes to me. Making the most out of what I can at all times. Accepting the fear, and loving forward

I’m sitting in a car that doesn’t have any air conditioning. But I have a hand held fan that is blowing the hot air closer to me. I’m listening to Likewise by Frances Quinlan on the car speakers and neutrally perceiving my life. In a sense recovering from the work I’ve needed to put into it. Nothing can remain the same

We ignore the intimacy of taking off your shoes. Your literally giving yourself permission to slow down and accept vulnerability in a fast paced world where one second your calm and the next you’ve gotta run.

I disagree. I think that this idea is rooted in capatalism and a mindset focusing on a lack of power. Literally, we are born with nothing, but idealistically, we can approach being a newborn as a gift and something of substance, just because existence is being inhabited by a new soul, which in a sense- is everything!
Once exposed to your first taste of capitalism (the lemonade stand), I can see where this idea of chasing comes from. How commonly we as a people living in a system where we are driven by a false sense of self determination to rely on parts of ourselves that are capable of working and “contributing” to a society. The faileures, the rejections, the lessons, and success are all things that are a part of this chasing.
So, wouldn’t that mean that-in the end-we are leaving with, everything?!
All of the lessons learned and power stepped into and love and success, only to be simplified into pure existence once your physical vesicle is no longer functioning. Simply compacted into a minute fragment of being, subjugated to the power of physically leaving the earth with nothing. All for a weirdly philosophical tumblr post?
I would argue that we enter the world with everything, move through existence with curiosity, and leave with everything and more, because we experienced the privledge to live life as a human being.
This could be strange, or a call to action.
