Wait I don’t go here but I’m a fascinated observer - do you have a tldr of who hates who in Pink Floyd?

using “love” and “hate” loosely and diversely, here is a basic chart with the most important pairings to orient you. some notes

roger may not always lack the high-ground but I think even his most dedicated enjoyers can agree he’s usually the root problem <3

david denies having any animosity towards roger but is clearly a lying liar who lies. he literally once trained to fight him for the rights to the band in hand-to-hand combat

nick may have less key relations but he was the much-needed source of stability. he’s roger’s boy best friend to this day (except for the 15 years they didn’t talk to each other) and the only one who not only puts up with him but enjoys it

rick was quite isolated in the band’s heyday and he and david weren’t even really friends until the late 80’s/90’s. even then it took a while but they got very close!! yay :)

theoretically I have no proof syd had significant more animosity towards roger than the rest of them but given the % of the pf discography that’s rog’s guilt-torture over him I think we can let him have it

syd was good friends with roger, david, and rick at various points. things uhh. did not work out. you see— *fandom rent control gunshots*. so yah, he should have been allowed to kill them all
