I’m late for Erwin’s birthday, but nonetheless…
Here’s my Erwin shrine. Just so you know. In case someone hasn’t noticed my obsession yet.

I’ve spent way too much time on this. And the result leaves a lot to be desired. And the sketch was way better. And the filters don’t help. HELP!

This is kind of funny, but I once showed a fanart picture of Levi and Erwin to my Mom, and she was kind of disgusted that I shipped them because she honestly thought it was like pedophilia. I had to gently explain to her that they were both in their 30s, it's just that Levi is legitimately tiny.
Hey anon! I’ve had the same problem with people who had no idea about AoT. In my personal opinion, it was pretty clear from his first appearance (both in the manga and in the anime) that Levi was an adult (a pretty life battered adult at that).
He acted like an adult, he spoke like an adult, he thought like an adult. Not to mention the fact that Isayama has always drawn him as a (crazily built) adult:
In my own fanarts, I try to do Levi’s (original) physique justice — and I have to admit that I sometimes tend to go over the top (or maybe not?):
Anyways, I’m not sure what I’m trying to prove here, because Isayama has already said that Levi was 30+. And if the eruri height difference is something that makes people cringe… then well, that’s how it is. I can only say that drawing this (28 cm) height difference is a real pain. But I love eruri *despite* that.

Snippets of my entries for nsfweruriweek2021
You can visit my Twitter (@lordirrelevant) to see the full pics (no minors please!).
That’s where I also post (almost) everything that I’m trying to work on at the moment - including the stuff that *this* platform has already blocked a couple of times (oh well):
…
So, it’s been a year since I’ve dived into eruri hell (AND I REGRET NOTHING!). And now that I’m feeling all sentimental and everything, I just want to thank all the incredible authors, meta-writers, artists, translators, commenters, lurkers, etc. who have provided the unbelievably great content or simple support that I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy and draw inspiration from throughout the year!
I personally value every single comment and every singe like even though I’m terrible at replying —because of my own social anxiety issues (there, I’ve publicly vocalized it now. This should be the first step to recovery, right?).
Anyways, THANK YOU once again (and hopefully this post didn’t get deleted)!

Heavily inspired by “The Companion” (please read the tags).
And Levi’s thoughts on this whole mess:

Possessive Levi is good, but possessive and jealous Erwin is even better, imho.

Snk Manga Spoilers incoming! Don’t open the previews if you haven’t read it, thank you.
So, apparently I wasn’t the only one who attributed that last vanishing Survey Corps cloak in chapter 139 to Erwin. Which doesn’t mean that it wasn’t anyone else’s — but I’m a weak eruri-fan, so it’s only natural that I interpret it in line with my own headcanons 😅
Anyways, after I saw that frame in the last chapter, I couldn’t get rid of the idea that Erwin stayed behind — if only for a short moment — to say his last farewell to Levi. Thinking about their last conversation was extremely painful, let me tell you. I think there’s so much they wanted and needed to say to each other — but in the end, I thought that the most important message was that their relationship was based on free will and free choices. Not some weird blood bond on Levi’s part or utilitarian considerations on Erwin’s part — but mutual trust and respect that they both had to learn little by little.
And then there’s the ackertalk between Levi and Mikasa. I’m still pissed that the only Levi-Mikasa conversation about their Ackerman-powers occurred in chapter 63 to never be mentioned again. Armin made such a fuss about Mikasa’s hurt feelings in chapter 139 (although I do understand the reason he did that, don’t get me wrong). And yet there was an Ackerman sitting *right there* the whole time and no one came up with the idea to ask him what this whole slave-lie was about? Really?! Levi is a man of few words, I know, but he does have his eloquent moments, so yeah, I wanted to rectify that. Whether I managed or not is for you to decide.

hello may i please have the link for the ‘divine’ prompt? the one you made a portrait of in reference to pygmalion 😘 thank you!
Hello anon! Sorry to disappoint, but that was a one-time Russian-fandom-event kind of thing and the prompt was simply ‘divine’ (божественное)... and that was pretty much it xD
I love one word prompts because they provide a general direction but the possibilities for interpretation are endless. For this prompt I actually started sketching an Eruri/Good Omens crossover pic but ended up with the Ares bust. Yeah, I don’t know either 😅

so i was looking at some of your recent drawings and realised that i've been working on something that's conceptually very similar to one of them, by complete coincidence. knowing this, i really just hope you think it's alright! in case i ever post my drawing
Hey there, anon! Thank you for your message and I can only encourage you to post your art! Inspiration and creativity tend to work in weird ways and even if two people get inspired by the same or a very similar concept/idea, their pieces will still be unique and special. So, please go for it!!

“I can’t believe we’re doing this.”
“We’re not doing anything. Yet.”
“...”
“...”
“Yet..?”
Well, Erwin did not quite expect *that* kind of enthusiasm xD Not that he’s complaining.
Because happy AU-Eruri-husbands is my way of coping with whatever Isayama throws at us.
Btw, do you hate those kitschy wedding photo booth photos with all those crazy filters as much as I do?

Modern(?)-AU-Eruri-interpretation of the Pygmalion myth.
The prompt was “divine” — and it somehow brought me to sculptor!Levi and Ares!Erwin.
Have I already told you how much I love prompts? Because I do love them! They fuel my otherwise rather lazy imagination. So, if you have prompts for me, please don’t hesitate to hit me.
