HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT.

as you’ve probably all noticed, im not really on this blog a lot anymore. the reason is a mixture of extremely low muse for len and a growing interest in other blogs. unfortunately that means im going to put this blog and BONES on hiatus until further notice! it’s absolutely nothing personal, and i really hope to return some time and get back to rping with all of you lovely, talented people. until then, you can catch me over here. thanks for making this blog such a wonderful experience so far, and i love y’all very much <333

The words come as a PHYSICAL force rather than a verbal statement, regardless of how GENTLY the guard had tried to tell him. They impacted his chest first, and spread a HEAT through his limbs, ending at his fingers and causing them to shake with --- what? RAGE? SORROW? The ability to speak had left him, it seemed, and so he could not even bring himself to ask how... IT had happened. Had it been an accident? Some sort of sick game of stones throw for the Gods, played to push him over the edge?

No. Loki found himself unable to care HOW it had happened ---- the only question he was concerning himself with was ----

W H Y ?

Why had the ONE GOOD THING in his life been taken from him so quickly, carelessly, USELESSLY? Maybe he deserved it ----- maybe he deserved to lose her. He was, after all, a PRISONER a crimnal. Perhaps the loss was meant as a lesson, to right his wrongs and force him onto a new path.

But Loki did not feel as if he was on a new path; he only felt as if he was at a crossroads, where one lane ---- a dark, TREACHEROUS lane he had been on once before ----- promised her face, her soul, her being... it promised to lead him straight to HER. 

The other ---- an even DARKER road, and much harder to travel upon ----- promised a cold existence without her, locked in a cell without even a GOODBYE.

But perhaps, Loki thought, this IS goodbye. And then, all at once, he came to a solemn conclusion.

Here’s a goodbye to being without her.

Luke’s smile faded, his eyes locking onto Mika’s gaze with a serious undertone. “Your opinion means more to me than all of my other friends’ combined,” he said, his tone quiet. He cleared his throat then, looking away from her. “Just... don’t sell yourself short.”

“Not at all,” Luke said, shrugging nonchalantly. “I would never take credit for such a poor excuse for a ‘functioning’ world.” He smiled, proving he was just jesting - and having fun doing it. “If I had had a hand in the creation of this world, I would have made it much different. Trust me..” He pouted slightly at being called old. “I don’t feel old. And I don’t think I look it, either.”

“Let me guess- you’re going to try and convince me that you had something to do with the creation of the world?” Mika raised an eyebrow skeptically. “I’m not stupid. I know the creation myths from most cultures and nowhere does it ever mention Loki.” She rolled her eyes with a smirk, “But I do know that you’ve been around long enough to know more than me…old man.”
