my brain at midnight-thirty, after having marathoned the extended edition of rotk: just think about the reunion scene in gondor after frodo’s been rescued and its all bright and ethereal and heavenly and first person he sees is gandalf whom he has every reason to assume is dead and then the rest of the fellowship comes in and frodo would assume he died and they’re all dead in the afterlife together and then asking where boromir is 8 ))))))))))
