My Bad Trip

Well...

It all started back in Louisiana when a friend sold me a tiny milk jug of shroom juice for $20. I was in for one hell of a day and I didn't know what was in store for me.

My day started normal enough. It was about 8 o'clock in the morning and I knew I was gonna be getting the shroom juice. So like a seasoned tripper I prepared my room for a decent trip. I had black-lights set up with neon colored posters on my walls. I had water for hydration , and food food for nourishment ( and marijuana just in case the trip became too intense and i needed a come down.).

After setting up my room for tripping I decided to go visit with my cousin until the Shroom Juice was ready. At about 10:30 am I received a call from my friend that He was on his way with it.

So I returned home to await my friend. He arrived by 11:00 and after giving him $20 I was the proud owner of a tiny 22 ounce milk jug full of Shroom Juice(caps , stems, and all) .

I told my friend thanks and went inside with my soon to be wild ride. I grabbed a bottle of the blue raspberry kool aid squirt and I headed to my bathroom. Once inside my bathroom i emptied the entire bottle of blue raspberry into the Shroom juice to try and mask the taste, and after giving it a good shake I verbally said bottoms up and proceeded to chug half of the jug . After a few minutes of wondering if it was gonna come right back up or stay down I convinced myself to finish the jug. After finishing the jug my stomach almost immediately feel sick and I turned to my bathtub and let out the tiniest bit of puke( relative to the size of a common loogie) . After spitting up in the tub I instantly felt better and I looked in the tub. When I looked in the tub the Shrooms must have already started to take a hold of me because the puke took the form of my own head and started exorcist style puking in the tub.

All I could say was I'm so glad that's not me right now, and after watching my own face trow up in the tub I decided i didn't want to watch that anymore so I turned to leave the bathroom. Whilst turning to leave I caught glimpse of myself in the mirror. When I looked at myself my mirror image spoke to me.

He said "hey there how'sit going?" and I replied "its going alright." .

He then asked me " are you having a good time?" to which I replied "so far i can't complain."

He then asked me "are you gonna do this again?" to which I replied " I don't see why not so far I'm enjoying myself."

He then pointed to the bathroom door and said " Have a fun trip!!" and I said "thanks!" and I proceeded to walk to my bedroom. Now by this time the Shrooms had me in deep and I was too far gone to stop anything. I had forgotten that i set my room up with black-lights and posters and when I opened my bedroom door everything hit me at once.I began to freak out a little and I had myself my very own Pink Floyd's The Wall moment where i coward in the corner as my door closed behind me. The posters became alive and the black-lights made the room spin. I did my best to overcome the crippling fear of everything happening so fast, and proceeded to crawl to my bed . My bed felt as though it was miles away from my door(in reality it was only 6 feet). After I finally reached my bed after what seemed like ages I pulled myself onto my bed and sat on the edge of my mattress.

And then everything changed ... in an instant all the black-lights and colored posters were gone and I was standing on the side of my bed looking down at my own body lying in my bed.I watched as my legs began to slowly fade away like the waves leave the ocean.I watched then as my arms proceeded to do the same . And then finally I watched my Head vanish into thin air as though I never existed at all.

I then turned away from my now empty bed and i looked towards the ceiling of my bedroom. I watched as the light-bulb that was in the center of my ceiling glide into the corner of my room and my ceiling opened up like it was the Hubble telescope , and i took off . I was soaring through the clouds I could feel the moisture of them on my skin. Then i broke through the Earths atmosphere and I was soaring through the Heavens. I watched as the moon flew past me , I watched as Mars flew past , then Jupiter , then Saturn , (I was traveling faster than the speed of light) then Uranus then Pluto. Everything was so amazing and vivid I wondered if i was ever going to go back to tell of my trip to anyone (i began to pick up speed somehow ) I reached the edge of our milky way and didn't stop there.

I watched as whole galaxies passed by me in an instant the beautiful colors and never not once did i need oxygen. I was convinced that I was never going to return to Earth. I thought that I was on my way to meet my maker( I wasn't 100% wrong on that one) when the galaxies started to slow, and i found my self heading towards a Mars like planet covered in copper colored dunes of sand like material.

There I was standing alone in the middle of billions of miles of copper sand when i heard an Ominous voice speak to me( it seamed to be coming from everywhere and nowhere all at the same time ).

The voice said "It is not yet your time to be here!" i assumed this was the afterlife everyone wonders about but I couldn't speak a word to ask any questions.

The Voice continued " Even though it is not yet your time to be here, I wanted to show you what it takes to make just one of your kind!"

"Behold" and then those words were spoken billions of moving whirling parts started to rise up from the copper dust. there were gears galore and bells and whistles and i felt as though i was trapped in the inside of a dome, made up of every single intricate part that makes a grandfather clock tic.

The Voice continued to speak " This is what it took to make You, Now go back and await your time to be here!"

After the Voice had its last words I turned and faced the Heavens again , and again i was soaring through galaxies watching star after star wiz by at alarming speeds ( kinda like warp speed in star trek) I watched as I soared past galaxy after galaxy , star after star , planet after planet until i saw the milky way grow larger and larger . what a beautiful sight I watched as the planets one by one past by me as I slowed ever so slightly until I saw the Earth come into focus . I approached the Earth and entered the atmosphere like I would have been a meteor heading for the united states. I watched as the US got bigger and bigger, then I saw Louisiana getting bigger and bigger. I watched as I saw my home town come into view .Then i saw my house with my roof still wide open. i soared past clouds and as soon as i impacted my house . I was standing in my bedroom again and I watched as my ceiling closed , and the light-bulb made its way back to the center of my room. I turned to face my bed and i watched as my body reformed ... my legs materialized back into existence , then my arms materialized back into existence. and then i watched as my head reappeared on my body. And the instant my head reappeared on my body I woke!

Grasping for air , my mouth as dry as the copper sands i had just witnessed . I reached for the water i so desperately needed and i chugged as much as I could handle.

Still in a daze i reached for my phone to see the time and it was 8:30 pm.

I had been out of it for at least 8 hours without food or water( or even breathing for that matter).

I lit the joint i had for emergencies because this felt like the right time to do so . after smoking and calming down a little i drank more water and ate a little bit and thought that my trip was finally over. not the case ... i continued to see things for a few hours .. i began to have fun with it again because the posters and the black-lights began to come alive again. It wasn't until around midnight before i was able to close my eyes and fall asleep.

True story.
