Detail of the extraordinary external spiral staircase on the Hotel Vallees des Princes, Douala, Cameroon, which to me manages to be both crudely executed yet exquisitely conceived. Truly a one-of-a-kind. See previous post for more on the building. Photo February 2019 Bauzeitgeist.

Do I see stars in the sky?
Not sure in which time of the day this photo was taken. Could be at night time with a long exposer or at day time. The tree has a flash light glow. The colours are complement which really works iin this picture.

A bit too much edited for my taste but it tells a story. It looks like it´s set in a future time. The wet ground enhances the purple, blue, pinnktones.

Looks like the viewer is looking at two different buildings from different perspectives. The light of the fence cuts the picture in two parts.

Interesting story telling.
First I thought that the tree was the right way around but the artist chose to change both perspectives. The girl would see the tree up side down like we see in the picture and the tree would see the girl like we see her in the photograph.

Again: Sometime I have not seen before.
Is this photoshoped? Is this a drawing on top of the photo? Light painting?

How was this made?
It looks like the person painted, printed, stained photos on top of each other. The edges are not ripped or cut like you usually see in collages.

Video
youtube
Went on YouTube because I wanted to take a break from photography (spent 4 hours riding my bike around Antwerp for Photo’s) but came across this Video. The title and the Image caught my Attention.
The interviewed photographer goes by the Name Ian Howorth and lives in the UK. I think his Quote summarizes perfect his style: “Creating a moment that you’d envision in a film”
Ian has some incredible ideas to share. "I think what a lot of photographers need to do is just, follow your eye. You'll start to learn what you like and how you frame thing what what you're going for, and then you naturally just hone in on that." I am going to try shooting like this for a while to see what my eye creates for me instead of trying to shoot with something in mind.
