//You ever just…have a character being built up and you fall in love with them? For me, this has happened with Alice DeRoss. Since she’s been built up to being playable with the announcement of Ashes of Memories, I have been getting so excited to see her.

All the Alice fans from my friends have introduced me to her lore and I just adore this woman and am excited for her to join the manor at last so we can find out her side of the story with Orpheus being confused on the storyline himself.

School is coming up this week, so I may not be active on my blogs as much. I’m planning to get my Kroto and Bella analysis done before then for the anon that has requested them to be talked about, so please look forward to that. ^_^

So…fun fact about Loremaster.

She’s actually the hunter identity switch of my survivor self insert, The Researcher. I was planning to use them both for some in character/pngtuber stuff but it turned into me using them mostly as avatars. I still have my notes and info on them so I may eventually make posts about them in the future.

Character Anaylsis: Rosemary

This post will be about the character Rosemary in Truth and Inference’s The Shrouded Bélóstáin event.

Story Summary

Rosemary was described as being the Oracle of the island after gaining favor in the year she had arrived, with her support being emboldened once Tuberose had entered the picture. He had gained her trust and was appointed as her new spokesman in place of Mauve Dahlia. Rosemary would take up residence on the island manor that opposed Datura’s on the island’s mainland, a hidden dock on the oracle’s island that she used for her own means.

With her being seen as the new leader, Bélóstáin became her own personal kingdom to raise her own flower specimens that she had grown with her own hands. All the ones that had been collected during the investigation were ones that could affect people’s mental state and offer medicinal purposes, making her knowledge highly desirable to anyone that would want them.

During the trial it was revealed that Sway (in her disguise) had written down the method Rosemary used for her plant specimens and that Tuberose had tried to steal them from her by using the bees he cultivated to sting her and frame Datura for her demise. This eliminating Datura from inheriting the island as well as taking Rosemary’s secrets.

With Tuberose gone, Rosemary had lost her trusted confidant and spoke with him in prison one last time. Tuberose reveals that she had told him her secrets as a last farewell before she made for her escape through her secret dock. Unfortunately for her, the crew on her ship had been replaced by DM’s workers thanks to Tuberose, who had been working for the man all along just to gain Rosemary’s knowledge.

About Character

Rosemary is the A tier for the hunter Grace, the Naiad. Like her canon counterpart, she is mute and shown to communicate mainly through sign language. Based on what was translated by both Tuberose and Mr. Inference, Rosemary has an eloquent and flowery vocabulary when it comes to her role as the Oracle. She is frequently described as seeming sad and quiet, her eyes noted to appear hollow and devoid of emotion even while smiling.

Theories About Rosemary

If Rosemary is meant to have similarities to Grace, it could mean that she secretly felt isolated from the islanders due to them putting her on a pedestal as the Oracle. Since she had no clue as to what happened in Datura’s residence the previous year, her reasoning for seeming so upset could not have been that she was being framed. Although Tuberose’s plan could have worked by framing Rosemary, he could fully gain her confidence by taking the full brunt as a means of “defending” her secrets. It is because of this she told him of her formula for her specimens, either making her a loose end or useful tool that could be delivered to DM for him to use.

This makes Rosemary a tragic character as she was thought of by players as the possible villain along with Sway and Datura, when the true villain was the man that played them all for his own ends.

Introduction

Hello everyone, I am Lavender, the Loremaster of this little "library" and I hope you all will enjoy the information I have to offer. My main focus is on the Truth and Inference series of events in Identity V, but I can also try and focus on the main story...as much as I can when the writers don't even know what's going on.
