Unironically one of my favorite bits that DS9 ever did was, to write Julian out of the end of the Risa episode, they were just like “oh he’s like. Having an orgy rn” because it’s the best way to send someone off screen I have EVER heard. That man needed to go to his literal newborn child so the writers were like “send his character to go get fucked and sucked. He never needs to be seen again in this episode.” Adore it.
