Hey everyone. I hate to have to turn to the internet for help like this, but I am in a tough spot and really need the help to take care of medical expenses and rent. Please anything helps.

For anyone who isn't my friend or family already, here is my story.

My name is Yaquica Gonzalez. I am a disabled Latino who has been unable to address my health concerns for the last three years. As a result, they have gotten progressively worse to the point that I had an accident while I was visiting a friend in California that has forced me to address it.

I have always dealt with nausea in my life, however, it has increasingly gotten worse as I have gotten older. It has reached a point where I hardly hold any food down and am always extremely malnourished as a result. I don't eat much, if at all, and when I do eat I am always struggling to keep it down. My friends have been begging me to get medical attention as recently I have started to throw up blood. This is the only medical concern that I have started to address and it has already put me a few thousand in medical debt. I still have not found an answer for what is going on.

The next concern has been a mobility issue. I started having really bad chronic pain flair up a few years ago. This took a turn for the worse when I started struggling to move for long periods of time without severe pain. This pain became even more of a problem when my legs started to give out on me causing me to collapse at random. Even at convention I ended up on the ground as I could no longer feel my legs which was embarrassing to experience and concerned a good number of my friends. As of now, I do not have a mobility aid or an answer to why this is happening or if there is anything else that would help it.

Finally, I started having heart issues. When transitioning from sitting to standing positions my heart struggles to keep up with my body movements. My heart also struggles to keep up with me if I am active too long or do anything strenuous which unfortunately includes going up the stairs. I currently live on a third floor apartment and my friends have been witness to my struggle to get up the stairs without collapsing. I get dizzy and nauseous on top of that which had lead to multiple friends suspecting possible POTS. However, there is not a current answer to that and that is something else that I need to address.

I can't afford to go to the doctor due to my deductible resetting but I also cannot afford to put off going to the doctor any longer so I am asking for assistance with this. I have maxed out my credit cards trying to get by and will be short on rent in February so I am asking for help with paying for my ability to take care of myself. I am thousands of miles away from my support systems and am already a struggling college student that doesn't want to have to drop out of school. I hate to turn to the internet like this but I don't know what else to do so please if you can't donate, share this post and help a disabled Latino finally get the help that they need.
