This is just a nitpick, but something I sometimes think about in the LL books, is how in the world Nine came out of that mog cell with even an ounce of muscle. Like the novellas and the main series have some inconsistencies. In Five’s Betrayal Nine is described as looking malnourished, and in the Power of Six John describes him as being all strong and buff, (despite the two books being pretty much lined up time wise). But it still remains consistent that Nine is powerful and muscular looking. But that confuses me so much, because HOW?? The books explanation is probably just the loric charm, or Nine’s legacies. But how is Nine not exhausted? This child has been working out nonstop, with very, very little food. And you don’t get buff from that, you get weak and tired, and whatever muscle is left is probably all damaged. Like Nine would not be ripped, at best he would probably be frail and a little toned. Like I know this really has no impact on the story, but I just think it’s really funny that when John finds Nine, he’s all energetic and ready to fight, and like not absolutely burnt out. You would be horribly ill if you spent a full year doing nothing but over-exercising (and being held captive lmao). You would not look like some huge gym bro.

yes yes yes and also, literally how was five surviving on his island?? i know pigs being kept as livestock is mentioned, but five also talks about surviving off coconut meat and such. i REALLY don’t think bro was getting enough nutrition.

I prefer a small fandom that stays intact like this one over other HUGE fandoms.

Like, true, there isn't nearly as much fan content, LL is non-existent on some SM platforms, but everyone here knows and interacts with each other very positively and like friends. The older people in the fandom also did a lot to prevent the series from dying in so many ways and I'll always love them for that.

When someone says 'Garde' or 'LL characters', I immediately think of either the aliens in the main series (Adam included) or the humans in Reborn. The problem is, Sam doesn't really fall into either category and I keep forgetting he exists.

I genuinely haven't thought about that dude in AGES. I don't hate him. In fact, I think he's cute and ship him with other characters sometimes. But I never remember him individually. (I know for a fact it's probably just me)

Einar's redemption arc in reborn was short, but I do think it was well-written.

That being said, it would've been so funny if he just stayed 'evil' w/ Five and Duanphen because that would be better than whatever the hell they did to him at the end. I was genuinely like "wtf????"

i’m gonna take this opportunity to say i am SO UPSET with how einar was treated at the end of the series. locking him up while he’s getting shocked so bad he can barely speak coherently is torture idc what anyone else says

it feels like a cop out for Kopano's character and his own development when people say he's like if Eight or Three had lived, or him and Taylor are basically Navrina 2.0. I can see the similarities on a surface level but I think Kopano is a pretty distinguished character separate from the others, especially getting into his background we're introduced to right in the first few chapters of Generation One

honestly from the fandom side i get why people would compare him to three, because of the fannon personality people give three tends to be similar to kopanos. i never really associated the two though

hi sorry I'm the same anon who wrote the hot take on LL fandom and race headcanons, I think I was in over my head writing that and that at the end of the day headcanons are just our versions of characters regardless of canon intent. I don't think I should've meant to make it as big a deal as I initially thought
