No laptop today, only beignets and lattes. Some pretty big moments of late have happened in coffee shops: I finished my master's thesis, signed patent papers, finished my science writing book, co-founded an AR start-up, and found our CTO. Seems only fitting that we have engagement photos in one too (and some other cool places around Houston). We hiked to the top of the trail at Point Magu, which is basically straight up. When we got to the top we couldn't get to the lookout point because too many people were lined up for selfies so I took this photo instead. 👩‍💻 Caught up on some Android studio tutorials today. When I was in primary school I was a repeat offender for not "showing my work". I figured if the answer was right it didn't matter how I got there. When I was a journalist this was also true - no one wants to see the rough draft of an article. But it isn't something I can get away with anymore and probably not for the foreseeable future 😂 (at Houston, Texas)
