this is a quick note to update your image of me in 2024. i exist! i am happy and alive! i am still active in fandom. however, as you probably guessed, this particular account and handle is in 'soft retirement'. over the pandemic, i have transitioned into making deeply self indulgent, almost exclusively sexual fanworks, and it felt no longer appropriate for me to use this account to post them. I became increasingly uncomfortable with the idea of posting suggestive fic and art here, as i never put an age restriction on this account, and had no way to easily vet 2000 followers (though I think most are probably spambots) to check they should actually be here.

if you truly want to meet me in the here and now, you can leave me a message and I may send you my new details. please don't be offended if I don't respond or decline, though. it's not you, it might even be if we're good friends you still won't get that account - I'm just testing out my own comfort levels and ability to control my own privacy. this post is a tentative step towards being a bit less paranoid and ashamed, by offering a potential but not guaranteed means of contact. i hope that's alright and makes sense.

thank you for being supportive of me and my work while i was growing and figuring out who I was. i feel the primary value of this blog is now as a time capsule of growing up as a part of fandom Tumblr, and my gradual cognisance of my own queerness and neurodivergence.

in the year of our lord 2023, under the false impression that i have moved on from my old teenage hyperfixation, i am here to posit that noreen from s2 just... transitioned to become lorne. we know absolutely nothing between the two events, but just that this happened. the timelines are a little screwy for this to work as noreen would be a little young, but that's okay that's the point of the true stories, a story gets corrupted the more it's told and why would anyone actually remember how old Noreen is 🤔
