Hi Weylers!! Today we have Tyler's monologue to analyse.

I was inspired by @itshype and @cosmic-lullaby posts:

I really like Tyler's monologue in the police station. I love the colors, the music, the acting, the reveal... eveything! BUT what I love most is how clever those writers were. Their intention was always to create ambiguity towards Tyler (and the fun fact that Tyler is a Gemini makes me cackle every time! LOL).

They threw all the hints about Tyler being genuinely fond of Wednesday, but they've never confirmed anything. They wanted to make us to believe he was lying all the time and break our hearts. That monologue was the validation for their idea. And well.. it worked out. One of many question the show raised is: Did Tyler genuinely like Wednesday? or Was the Hyde or Tyler in the scene of police station? Up to now, nobody knows for sure and on Season 2, the truth is going to be revealed.

HOWEVER the brain rot is taking over me again (when did it ever leave though?) and I decided to rewatch Tyler's monologue and take some notes to share with you. Shall we?

After being rejected, trapped and tortured by Wednesday, Tyler decided to confront her the way she would hate the most: mocking her. But before I start, I must say my opinion about Wednesday torturing Tyler: she was hurt. I'm not defending her actions, I'm just bringing this up. She was hurt because he continued playing the fool and lying to her face after she unmasked him, but above of it, she was trying to inflict pain on him the same way she felt because it was clear she liked him. She decided to believe she could be loved and accepted by someone, by him, but he was pretending all the time. So that was the way she knew she could take her revenge. Well, that is her pov and I still believe she continues believing he played her about his feelings in the past.

HOWEVER the thing is Tyler had real feelings for Wednesday, but she turned her back on him the moment she found out he was the Hyde. From his perspective, she never even considered the possibility that he was a victim, not just a monster. Instead of trying to help him, she tortured him, chained him up, and treated him as nothing more than a dangerous creature. That had to sting.

When he mocked her with his "You still think I'm the victim?" monologue, it wasn’t just arrogance—it was pain disguised as bravado. He had to act like he didn’t care because the truth was, he did. Deep down, he might have wanted her to believe in him, to fight for him, but she didn’t. She saw him as an enemy.

His mockery was his way of lashing out, covering up the fact that her rejection hurt more than he wanted to admit. Because if he really never cared about her, why would he need to mock her at all?

Another interesting point is Tyler's behavior might have been influenced by the Hyde side of him. The Hyde is a violent, uncontrollable force, and it’s clear that when Tyler transforms into the Hyde, he loses his sense of control. But even though the Hyde's actions are monstrous, I think there's still a part of Tyler—his humanity—that influences how he behaves.

When Tyler mocked Wednesday, there’s an argument to be made that it wasn’t purely the Hyde speaking. The emotional hurt and betrayal he felt as a person likely contributed to his words. The Hyde may have amplified those feelings, but the core of his mockery comes from Tyler himself: feeling rejected, misunderstood, and manipulated by Laurel Gates. The Hyde’s transformation doesn’t erase the fact that Tyler is a person with feelings, and I believe he was hurt that Wednesday—who he genuinely cared about—turned her back on him without trying to understand the full picture.

So while the Hyde may have twisted his emotions and actions, I don't think everything he said came from the Hyde alone. Tyler’s hurt and pain were very real. His mockery was a mix of his vulnerability as a person and the Hyde’s influence taking control.

The part where Tyler is on the verge of crying is such a significant detail. It shows that, deep down, Tyler is still grappling with the pain of everything that happened, even though he's in Hyde mode. When he sheds that tear at the end of his monologue, it's a rare glimpse of the human side of him breaking through, even in his darkest moment.

The Hyde side of him, while powerful and destructive, doesn't erase the fact that Tyler was manipulated, betrayed, and hurt. That tear is almost like an admission of how lost and broken he feels. He’s not just angry at Wednesday for not believing in him—he’s also grieving the loss of her trust, and maybe even the loss of who he could have been if he hadn't been manipulated by Laurel and transformed into the Hyde.

In that moment, the tear is like a crack in the facade of his anger and bitterness. It reveals that beneath all of his mockery and the Hyde's violence, there is a person who still cares, still feels pain, and still regrets what’s happened.

Jacelaena headcanons please ❤

This is a million years late, I’m so sorry! But ask and you shall (eventually) receive!

Helaena is a head taller than Jace. As children, Jace always hoped he would grow taller than her, but as an adult? He’s obsessed with their height difference. He loves when her chin dips and her eyes lower to meet his as he beams up at her, just absolutely stunned by the tall goddess. Even better when she dips down for a kiss, and his neck cranes up to meet her.

Jace brings Helaena out of her shell. She is always quicker to laugh when he is around. She is more likely to enjoy a dance, if Jace is her partner. He makes her more adventurous and more free. Meanwhile Helaena calms Jace, softening his heart and cooling his temper. They better each other!

Helaena rarely calls him by his name. She instead uses a flare of dramatic titles for him. Valiant prince and dragon-heart being among her favorites. Jace wishes he had the nerve to call her pretty names, like flower or darling, but he simply can’t call her anything but Hel, in the softest and fondest voice in the world.

Jace always shows off at tourneys, but especially if Helaena is in attendance. He asks for her favor without fail, and she never denies him. If he wins, he is sure to crown her the queen of love and beauty.

Jacaerys is a man of honor. He desires nothing more than to wed Helaena and rule alongside her. But because of his code of honor, he feels a deep need to have a good relationship with her family. He craves their approval of the match, even if Helaena insists it doesn’t matter. He tries everything in his power to get Alicent to like him or at least respect him. He knows that Helaena’s brothers are pretty much a lost cause, especially Aemond, but he never gives up on trying to win Alicent’s favor, even after he and Helaena marry.

Both Helaena and Jace struggle with High Valyrian. It is a point of bonding for them, both being slow learners of the language. They help each other and study together often, finding lessons more bearable if they’re working together.

After they wed, they both decide they want many children. Jace hopes for them to look like Hel, with her soft round face and wavy silver hair, but Hel hopes for the opposite, wishing for them to have their father’s dark unruly curls and warm brown eyes.

Jacaerys prefers dressing lavishly, while Helaena likes to keep her outfits simple. Jace often wears full Targaryen regalia, his tunics and cloaks made of fine silk or velvet, with the added addition of many silver and gold accents such as rings and brooches. Helaena prefers comfortable and light dresses, usually in pale pinks, blues and yellows.

Jace has always been uncomfortable around insects, but in an attempt to bond with Helaena, he tries to loosen up and relax around them. This backfires often, when he confidently picks up an unfamiliar insect to show off to her, and is bitten immediately. She appreciates the effort nonetheless, and explains to him how to properly handle insects as a maester tends to his bug bites.

Jace is fascinated by her dragon dreams. He writes down every riddle she says, often reading them over and over to try to unravel the words to find their true meaning. He is always careful to never push her on explaining them, knowing it’s best to leave her be and distract her with something else once she’s done speaking of them.

They both think they’re not good enough to be with the other. They’re always trying to better themselves for one another. Always trying to be someone worthy of ruling with the other, and loving the other. It takes a long time for them to realize the other feels the same way they do, and they have a long talk, reassuring each other that they’re both good enough. When they both realize they love each other unconditionally, just as they are, their union becomes stronger and more devoted than ever.

And lastly, Jacaerys and Helaena have a long, happy, peaceful and prosperous reign together. They live long lives and are surrounded by loved ones when they pass away, and countless poems and songs live on, telling the tale of the dragon king and the gentle queen, and the remarkable and deep love they had for one another.

I just want her to be happy

-It’s time for my At Midnight in Manhattan Rollisi fight spiral since I just watched that scene and kept rewinding it multiple times.

Firstly, we starting with the obvious. The time stamp at the beginning of the episode where the squad was pulling a Midnight shift - getting read to leave for the night after who knows how long they were there. Until Kat’s “at vice, we never had a Friday night this quiet” and then bomb, the phones keep ringing.

This is the time stamp we get in the scene right after Rollisi’s fight. Who knows what time they got up Friday morning. Knowing the fact that Amanda has two young kids (a 3 year old and an 8 month old at this point) so she’d probably been awake since early that morning - they could have been easily awake for 24 to 36 hours at this point.

There’s three cases the squad is struggling (and who knows how many OTHER cases Carisi is also struggling on top of the three svu has). 

“I would be fine if you were right here beside me.”

Amanda’s been awake too long, she’s stressed, she’s spread thin since it’s literally just her and Fin doing leg work - now Kat but she’s still new; Liv’s Captain so she’s not gonna be in the field/actively investigating cases anymore. And now they have three big ones - they’re literally drowning because Carisi left as Amanda said.

But also Amanda is drowning; because the one person she’s been leaning on for the past four ish years is no longer right beside her day in and day out. Her steady constant isn’t her steady constant anymore. And she knows that if he were still her partner, she’d be fine. She wouldn’t be drowning in this, but if she was, she wouldn’t be that deep; because he’d be there.

And Amanda gets stuck with the case where the victim’s family is actively doubting her ability as a cop? They literally keep asking her where Liv is and they’re second guessing her every fucking move. So she’s obviously gonna feel like a failure - and once again, she doesn’t have Carisi there to back her up - to reassure her that she’s doing fine, to be her fucking partner.

“You said you were my partner, you walked out on me.”

It’s the fact that she doesn’t look at him when she says this. The fact that she can’t look at him while admitting, just barely, that she misses him and she’s mad. Even if she is happy for him - she’s mad, she’s sad and she’s feeling so much shit right now.

The one man who was the most constant in her life for so long, her best friend, her partner, her children’s godfather - the one man who was ALWAYS there is just suddenly not anymore. Carisi left her, just like every man in her life has (now granted, he only went to the DA’s office - it’s not like he left town or walked out on her completely - but he still LEFT).

“You said you were happy for me.” “And you believed me? How stupid are you?”

And because she’s tired and has all these emotions warring in her head (plus her obvious romantic feelings she’s trying to suppress) she finally just picks a fight with him, let’s one negative comment slip passed her lips.

And because that’s what she does when she feels scared - she pokes and she prods and she picks fight with people. And maybe, just maybe she wants Carisi to feel at least a little bit of everything that she’s feeling. But she doesn’t actually fucking mean it.

She IS happy for him (those heart eyes at his promotion party weren’t fake - she is genuinely happy for him) - she’s just feeling a lot of other shit too. And I don’t think she realized how much it was going to hit her at that party that she was gonna miss him that damn much (because she’s still forcing her feelings down) until he was gone and she had to go on without him by her side every day.

She just needs to let it out and even if she’s mad - she know he’s still her best friend and she can let loose on him, she knows he’s not gonna judge her or really hold this over her, so she’s comfortable taking it out on him.

I will also never get over Kelli’s face right after their fight and Carisi walks away. It’s so subtle; but it says so much.

She’s tired, she’s stressed, she’s missed her best friend/partner who she also happens to be in love with. And she just blew up at him for walking away from her and I think it hit her like a punch to the gut in this moment that she is in fact in love with him. I mean she’s known something was there since the moment he first held Jesse.

(Exhibit A) - but that moment was so easy to just blame on hormones since it was literally only like six weeks after Jesse was born.

Amanda Rollins is 100% in love with Dominick “Sonny” Carisi Jr. And fighting those feelings are getting harder and harder to do. But she also still thinks that she doesn’t deserve him, so she’s also realizing that she’s fucked.

With Amanda Rollins finally being in a happy relationship a mere day away, I thought I’d take a look at what we know of her in a relationship. What is she looking for in a partner? What is her type? And how much is she willing to ignore of her ideal to make a relationship work?

Mostly, this will be based on the season 15 episode Rapist Anonymous, but there will be a few mentions of Rollaro, too.

Also since Hulu combined the two hour premieres into one episode and therefore messed up the rest of the season numbers. I’m putting the episode number and the title.
