OM Team makes the original OM game

And all of this is done out of greed, apparently (despite the fact that constantly releasing and "abandoning" games is a terrible business move that won't actually make you any money)

What ACTUALLY happened:

OM Team makes the original OM game

Game absolutely blows up, the servers become overloaded and are unable to keep up with the volume of players

Servers become too outdated to continue using long term

OM Team makes Nightbringer, giving the OM franchise room to grow again, and using servers that aren't nearly as obsolete and overtaxed

Meanwhile, the parent company (NTT Corp) spends multiple years making atrocious business decisions and mismanaging their subsidiaries, including Solmare

NTT Corp makes extremely bullshit decision to wrap up the OM games because they no longer want to fund the development of otome games AT ALL

OM Team is forced to make a hasty and unplanned conclusion to NB's main story, leaving the OM franchise in an uncertain position going forward

OM Team doesn't want to let the OM franchise die, promises to still release new content and projects

OM Team finds other game dev studios to collaborate with, and are now making a new OM game so that the franchise can keep living

OM Team takes fan demand into serious account, and heavily priorities romance in the new game, with deeper and more intimate relationships (something the fans have been begging for)

And this is all factual. This info has been confirmed by the old mods/staff of the official OM Discord, as well as multiple data miners who were able to see firsthand how outdated and overburdened the servers actually are. NTT Corp's business moves are very public and can easily be viewed online. None of this is a secret.

I'm not saying that the games are above criticism, or that nobody is allowed to have opinions about the new game coming out. All of that is fine. But there's a huge difference between an opinion, and outright misinformation. And the OM fandom has a huge problem with uncritically believing misinformation at face value and repeating it/spreading it around - which is at both the games AND the fans' detriment overall.

Lucifer: Says he doesn't, he absolutely does. He needs to relax and sometimes demonus just doesn't cut it. He does it in private though. No one can tell when he's high

Mammon: Absolutely not. He tried it once and it gave him mad anxiety and he almost immediately greened out. He stays away from it like the plauge.

Levi: He doesn't either, he doesn't like being high. It just makes him worry about seeming high so he can't enjoy it. Low key wishes he could like it though.

Satan: Will get high on occasion, especially with Solomon. He'll sometimes do it to feel mellow enough to read. You can absolutely tell when he's high, he gets really affectionate.

Asmodeous: Like Satan he'll get high with Solomon. He says it helps his creativity and he can put together the best outfits then. He also gets high to watch horror movies sometimes because he's insane.

Beelzebub: Absolutely not. He knows what his appetite is like normally and does NOT want the munchies on top of that. He also just doesn't like the smell.

Belphegor: 100%. Man likes his weed naps. Him and Satan are the worst people to get high together though because they'll spend the entire time coming up with the worst pranks for Lucifer.

Diavolo: Maybe? I feel like he might avoid it since he does occasionally worry about his reputation as the prince. On the other hand, this man is so stressed all the time. Idk, maybe he gets high with Lucifer, they'd probably just spend the whole time watching something on tv together.

Barbatos: This man absolutely gets high. Like Lucifer though you really can't tell. He does his best baking when he has zero inhibitions completely stoned. He's never high around Luke though, that's his baby boy. He seems to be able to just... Will the highness away? It's unnerving.

Simeon: On occasion, but he knows he's a total lightweight. He has to set aside like a whole day for it. On the plus side that day usually ends in him having made more TSL content.

Solomon: As previously stated, he absolutely gets high. Particularly with Satan, Asmo, and Barbatos. He like magically produced a strain that gets you "wizard high" and no one but him will touch it. The lords of hell live in fear of this man's tolerance.
