I’m Riding to End AIDS! May 31st - June 6th 2015, I’ll be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to support the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This bike ride means the world to those who receive treatment as a result of this event. Why I am riding in ALC 2015: I am riding to spread awareness of HIV/AIDS. AIDS stigma and discrimination exist worldwide, although they manifest themselves differently across countries, communities, religious groups and individuals. They occur alongside other forms of stigma and discrimination, such as racism, stigma based on physical appearance, homophobia or misogyny. Lets end the stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS. I am also riding for the researchers and advocates who lost their lives onboard the MH17 bound for the international AIDS conference in Melbourne earlier this year. Let's honour their commitment. We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Your support is greatly appreciated!
