Nighttime Cheering Up

Lee!Tom Ler!Aiden (I don’t ship them.) (Takes place after DCAS 9.)

Tom was sad that Tess was gone. He only knew in such a short time. He just wished it was a bit longer. At night, Tom came outside of the tent because he couldn't sleep. This woke Aiden up and made him check up on Tom.

"Tom, why are you up so late?" Aiden asked.

"Oh, I couldn't sleep because of Tess' elimination," Tom sighed, "She was so nice."

"Aw, sorry, buddy. Is there anything I can do to help you fall back to sleep?"

"Maybe cheer me up, Aiden."

"Hm, how about I tickle you?"

"Sure"

"Say, Tom, how many ribs do you have?"

"I don't know."

"Let me check."

Aiden lightly moved his finger on Tom's ribs as he counted his ribs. Tom giggled a little. Then he moved his hand towards Tom's tummy. Tom started laughing more. Aiden poked Tom's sides. Aiden then spidered Tom's tummy.

"Ready to go back to bed?" Aiden asked.

"Of course, Aiden. Thanks," Tom added.

"No problem, Tom."

“..And so we’re all just sitting by the beach right,” Paintbrush explained, grabbing their drink from the bedside table. “Bot and Goo start having a tickle fight, but none of us are paying that much attention to them.” They took a sip of their drink before continuing.

“And then for some reason Silver just starts sayin’ like- ‘Ohh I bet Painty’s so ticklish!’. And then I just kinda look at him weird, y’know cuz why would he say that?”

Lightbulb laughed a bit in response. “Well are you?”

“Hm?”

“Are you ticklish?”

“Uhhhh…” Paintbrush set their cup back down, resting their cheek in their palm as they thought over the question. “I don't.. Think so?”

Lightbulb raised an eyebrow in disbelief. “Wait really? Not even a little bit??”

Paintbrush shrugged. “I dunno- I guess I could be? Kinda doubt it tho”

“No wayy, you? Not ticklish? I ain’t buyin’ it.” Lightbulb stated.

Paintbrush snickered a little, tilting their head to the side. “Pff- What’s that supposed to mean?”

“You seem like you would be !” Lightbulb responded. An idea suddenly popped into her head. “..Can I test it?”

Paintbrush paused for a moment, a little surprised at the bluntness of her question. “Uhh… I guess so? Sure?” They agreed, an awkward smile on their face.

Lightbulb’s expression lit up as she was actually given permission, immediately scooting closer to Paintbrush. “Alrighty, let’s see here..” She lifted their arm up and began poking around at their stomach.

Paintbrush flinched and let out a loud squeak as soon as Lightbulb’s hand made contact, reflexively smacking her hand away. The two of them froze for a moment, both surprised by the reaction. A huge grin slowly formed on Lightbulb’s face at this new discovery. “Oh!! So you are!”

“..Uhh-” Paintbrush glanced away, feeling their face heating up. They barely had time to respond before Lightbulb continued tickling them, lightly scribbling her fingers over their sides. “W-Wait! Lightbulb!” Paintbrush blurted out as they fell into a fit of squeaks and laughter.

“I was right!” Lightbulb exclaimed, laughing with them. She shifted to be more on top of them, aimlessly poking and scribbling all over their torso. Paintbrush buried their face in their hands and started kicking their legs against the bed. They could barely form a coherent thought in that moment, let alone say anything- They had never been tickled before! How were they even supposed to react?

Lightbulb smiled brightly as she listened to Paintbrush’s loud and hiccupy laughter, the sound alone filling her with joy. “Omga, you’re even more ticklish than I thought you’d be!”

Paintbrush melted a little at her touch, sinking down into the bed. They were kinda paralyzed there for a few moments before moving a hand down to push Lightbulb’s away.

Lightbulb chuckled fondly at them, deciding to go ahead and let them go. She pulled her hands away from Paintbrush, moving back to where she’d been sitting previously. She smirked down at them as she watched them try to regain their composure. Paintbrush laid there breathing heavily, a huge wobbly smile on their face. “What the fuck..” They mumbled as they pushed themself back upwards.

“Sooo, how was that?” Lightbulb asked them teasingly. Paintbrush held their cheek in their palm, too embarrassed to look at her. “Ah- It.. it was…. Nice..? I guess..?” They responded quietly.

Lightbulb smiled more at that, feeling super happy that they’d been enjoying themself there. Paintbrush grabbed their drink and took a few more sips, taking a few moments to recover.

“..I’m just kind of upset that Silver was right.” Paintbrush stated, causing Lightbulb to burst out laughing.

Four started tickling behind my ears. And then Four spidered my tummy. He gave me a squishy hug. I hugged back as he lightly tickled my back.
