Spoilers(?) People over on Insta saw me losing my mind over this. I dunno how tf ppl do comics on the regular, ESPECIALLY with backgrounds, jesus christ. Anyways! Thoughts of P4Re made me really want rival romance routes, so I was like, I could totally just take the Naoto romance events and make it KanNao lmao. (also, started this way before the teaser dropped) So I had to do the cute af scene with the female uniform, Kanji would lose his damn mind hahaha.

So if the P4R cast is gonna get their own version of P3R's Combat Uniforms, I have some terribly written theories on who's gonna make/provide them. Starting with Kanji: This one is the least likely case, on it's own, since Kanji would probably need to get some measurements of everyone. And frankly, Chie and Yukiko would probably smack Kanji for even asking that, and of course Yosuke would just be suspicious why Kanji would want to know what sizes he wears, granted if he's keeping them a surprise for everyone. With all that said how ever, Kanji does have some kind of skills sewing/knitting because of his family background, and, if I remember correctly, we even got to kind of see him trying this somewhere in P2Q when he was gonna make Phantom Thief outfits for everyone else.

Next up Teddie: Teddie seems to have similar skills in crafting stuff like Kanji, I could even see them working together during the events before Rise's Dungeon to make these fun costumes for everyone. I'd say since Teddie is able to make Glasses that perfectly fit everyone's faces, he just might have a good eye on what everyone's sizes are, at least general approximation. Probably a good time as any to address the whole "How are they gonna put these on with out looking suspicious/out of place in the real world?". I mean... Teddie could probably just provide a changing room in the main hub area. He's able to manifest TVs to get back to the real world there, I don't see why not (That or everyone uses the stalls in the Bathhouse to change if Kanji isn't too uncomfortable about it). Teddie being the one in charge of them could also give a mechanical reason why this new gear exists, since it would make the most sense for him to know about some "Theurgy" equivalent in the TV World and design the costumes to be able to track that like the Armbands.

Finally Rise: She doesn't have the same arts and crafts skills as the other two, at least I don't think? But she Is an Idol, so she might be able to pull some strings and get her company, or what ever, to provide the gear for her and her friends to wear around. Maybe this could also make them less suspicious in the real world?... eehhh probably not. Similar to Kanji though I could see her keeping it as a surprise as a way to thank her new team for rescuing her.

So yeah, those are just some of my random thoughts on the possibility of our favorite Investigation team getting cool costumes to wear in the TV World, do you think we'll get to see the team in new clothes? what do you think they'll look like?

This year has kind of been emotional whiplash for me so far (Is that even a sentence?).

On one end, I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that's preventing me from being able to eat all the things I enjoyed. I feel more lonely than ever. And constant personal spirals because of how isolated I'm making myself. Not to mention how the world feels like it's falling apart and I'm getting even more worried about what will happen to the few people I do love. On the other end...

Right, just because she identifies as Cis during the main events of the story, doesn't rule out the possibility that she can become trans later in her life. People change over time.

"naoto's character arc is specifically about the misogyny of the japanese police force/work force and it's important for her to work on her own internalized misogyny"

and

"even after naoto 'accepts' that she is a woman, she clearly shows how uncomfortable she is being perceived as such and a lot of her storyline aligns with trans people's actual lives and stories"

are two ideas that can coexist. blatantly saying that one or the other's character interpretation of naoto is "wrong" is a disservice to naoto as a character.

About the OFF Prologue

Thank you very much to everyone who played the Off demo! We're delighted that the response was so numerous and enthusiastic. Your comments and feedback will be invaluable to the team for the final phase of development.

Regarding the feedback that focuses on differences from the original version, which often necessarily involves the new soundtrack, but also a few other small changes : I can easily understand the difficulty some of you have in appreciating elements that replace those you've known and are attached to. But I want to remind you first and foremost that this version doesn’t intend to replace the previous one, which remains and will always remain available for free to everyone. At no point there's any intention of "removing" - one way or the other - the Alias ​​Conrad Coldwood soundtrack, which is a very important part of the atmosphere of the original experience. Constraints forced us to choose to offer you this new soundtrack, which should be seen as another musical dressing for the world of Off, and not as a "final edition," canceling the previous one.

Moreover, the creative process for this new soundtrack was not solely driven by an attempt to recreate the exact same atmospheres as the original. I personally asked the artists to maintain a certain degree of freedom, and thus avoid falling into the somewhat impossible exercise of identically recreating existing atmospheres. As an artist myself, I thought it was more interesting to give the musicians a certain amount of room for expression and interpretation, not only so that the pieces they compose are interesting in themselves, and not just as reproductions, but also because I believe this is one of the aspects that makes the experience of this new version surprising and interesting.

I also know that for several of the excellent artists tasked with creating new music for this version, it was a source of rather intense pressure! Everyone on the team loves the original game, and knows how important its soundtrack is.

All that being said, the Dedan battle theme, which seems to have been a specifically controversial point, will most likely receive some changes between now and the final release.

Finally, I've read a few times about Toby Fox's supposedly dominant role on the team. Please believe that, as involved as he is in the game's development process, not only does he have no final decision-making power (which is more in line with my position), but he also works with us with enormous respect (and fear) for the source material. Of the entire team, I think he's the one who felt the most pressure from the fans, and still does. I ask you, please, to be assured of his sincere involvement and humble devotion to the project and to the batter's messianic quest.

The idea of ​​replacing the dopefish with the dog from Undertale was mine, as the green fish is copyrighted; we were afraid Apogee would annoy us.
