Waste Pollution

Waste pollution is one of the common issues today, it is a humane activity considered as a global crisis. In particular areas such as Barangay Calamias Mabini, Batangas and Barangay Orense Bauan, Batangas, it is very common to see different types of waste such as plastics, wood, diapers, debris and a lot of humane stuff that highly affect and polluting the water forms of those barangays. Those examples of water forms are mainly the canals or drainages, waterways and worst is the ocean which is a big part of our natural resources.

According to statistics and data analysis, the fishery is one of the branches of resources that mainly provide with the needs and wants of the people. The effects will be centralized to ruining and destroying our natural resources resulting a marine pollution that causes the loss of income for the people. On the other hand, this could also lead to killing the underwater creatures that inhabit those particular areas, resulting them in consuming waste that is highly contaminated by human and putting their health at risk. Mainly, waste pollution is from human inhumane acts such as throwing waste in cliffs, canals and seas. Additionally waste from factories or industries can go directly into canals that connect rivers and seas resulting in a wide range of waste pollution. Following provisions is a must, everyone should be aware of this kind of dilemma and humans should start taking seriously the possible and negative effects that it could bring one day. As other people say "Pollutants in the ocean make their way back to humans", so in order to not let this happen, we need to start disciplining ourselves and maintaining the cleanliness of the canals and drainage system, the nearby oceans and shore, we could also reinforce the regulations of 3R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) through the help of the Leaders of the Sanguniang Kabataan or simply talking with the Punong Barangay to solve the problem.

Now as a student, we intend to use our voice to influence and educate our constituents in being aware of our acts to permanently prevent the over waste pollution, as the young generation we could post awareness through social media, use solidarity and fellow-shipment in maintaining cleanliness and the discipline with our waste, and last is propose an idea that posts a strict regulations of not obeying rules such the 3R's and throwing garbage here and there. Let's show humanity until it's not too late, care for our nature for the future and maintain cleanliness in order to feel happiness, remember that in order to have changes, the changes must start from you.
