Ok but imagine if Shannon didn’t make 9.5 so in book 10 Keefe will just randomly say something like

this is worse than that one time I burned down a gas station

and Sophie is just like ;-;

Anyone else find it weird that Shannon just GAVE us the title of book 9.5?!?! For all the books she would announce that she had a name and then have us wait a month to hear the actual title. She even did that with Unlocked. Like what???

I think we all know that we are going to be waiting until November just for Shannon to give us information pages, five illustrations and 250 pages from Keefe’s POV.

Can’t believe I foolishly thought Shannon was going to release stuff for book ten.. I love Keefe but come on. I’m sure she could’ve ended KOTLC without going in depth about his time in the human world, It seems very unnecessary and clearly she can’t let go of her characters. Eventually there’s a point where the fandom just wants the series to end nicely and not be drug out. I gotta admit I’m kinda at that point, I am excited but as a writer myself it’s getting exhausting how much she has to add to drag out the plot for more books. I started reading this series when I was nine and now I’m a college freshman, this is crazy y’all. I’m glad a lot of people are excited for this though especially her younger audience! But I think she’s definitely losing her older audience, which makes sense considering the series is for 8-12 year olds.
