Clearing Up Confusion Around Age Regression

➔ Regression isn’t always something you can control. Sometimes being overstimulated or having a traumatic event can make you regress whether you want to or not

➔ Regression is often a trauma response, i have complex ptsd and I regress after flashbacks, its a coping skill that my brain has automatically created, it is not pretending to be a child, your brain goes back to that childlike state to protect the current you. We don't actually think we're children. We know we are older! It's a coping mechanism!

➔ Regression doesn’t always mean the regressor will want to wear diapers, and drink out of bottles

➔ Regression isn’t always to really young ages!

➔ Romantic CGs aren’t seen as actual parents. Cglre isn’t inc*st role play

➔ Age regression is not sexual. It's a way for some people to cope with stress, trauma, or emotions by mentally returning to a younger age. While it’s meant for comfort and healing, some people may misuse it in a sexual context, but that’s not the true purpose.

➔ Regression isnt always going into a happy space. i regress during stressors and flashbacks and its extremely terrifying for me.

‼️REGRESSOR ROSE TYLER HEADCANONS‼️

1. Pink baby, look at her room. Pink everything, clothes, asscesories, toys, anything pink, she wants it.

2. Reserved on her own, but extremely talkative and hyper when with the doctor.

3. Just like ten, she slides. Anywhere from the 2-5 age range to 6-9 age range.

4. Likes to listen to music while regressed, Britney spears, Christina Aguilera, Lindsay Lohan. Any pop girl from the 90s-2000s.

5. Huge fan of toys, loves to play and create stories. Gets really immersed into her playtime, and loves when the doctor plays pretend with her.

6. When she's in a younger age range, she has the doctor speak to her in gallifreyan so she feels like she's to little to understand him.

7. Has trouble fully regressing, and slips out of regression very easily. She started to get better at it when the doctor helped her, but still has issues with staying regressed.

8. Always has dirty/scraped knees. I imagine she really enjoys parks. So she's constantly just grubby. She loves baths, but they never do much, she's right back to playing after.

9. Loves being bathed but was very shy at first. When she first mentioned it the doctor was all over the idea. Nudity hadn't even crossed his mind. He just wanted to take care of her. She's still shy, but after a while she became more comfortable and learned to trust the doctor.

10. When in the younger age range she dosent speak much. she isn't non-verbal, she just prefers using her hands to express what she wants. However when she's in the older, she's very chatty.

1) total cuddle bug. Needs to be held, or snuggled, or have someone holding his hand constantly.

2) as much as he loves being held, he's, well, lanky. His long legs and arms make him a wee bit awkward. Like a Doberman who swears he's a lap dog.

3) Either completely non-verbal, or always babbling, no in-between. And when he is non-verbal he gets frustrated that people don't understand him

4) clingiest kiddo EVER. He's not shy, but he has his favorites that he is just velcro-d to.

5) I can totally vision him in the 2-3 age range and 5-8 age range. He totally slides, and wears his poor cgs out trying figure out what age he is this time.

6) this is so obvious, but space kid. Loves going to human (and alien) space museums and centers, has loads of space books or toys, and those glow in the dark ceiling stars

7) was scared to tell Rose initially, but she spoke up abt her regression, and he was basically like: "you'll never guess what." So now they flip between cg/little for each other

8) sleepy baby, when he's in a younger age range. He's like a sleepy house cat, he's so easy to put down for a nap. And lovesss blankets.

9) however, when he's in an older age range? Oh you have to keep him on a leash. He'll want to touch/ play with/ chew on Everything. And if you aren't looking, oh he's gone.

10) Do not, no matter what he tell you, let him near the controls. He can barely drive normally, imagine a little doctor trying to use it? He'd bring you to the French revolution and try to 'play with the horsies"

I think it was about time I drew some CG!Aziraphale and Little!Crowley, I honestly can't get enough of them, especially since Crowley is clearly so baby coded, I can't wait for the next season!

On another note, I know you guys have been wanting me to provide headcanons on some of these characters, so I've decided to compile a small list for them! If you guys enjoy these headcanons, I'll try doing more for other characters.

GOOD OMENS AGERE HEADCANONS!

Aziraphale discovered that Crowley had been a regressor in the last 100, perhaps 200 years, around the 1800s era. Prior to that period, Crowley had been a regressor but kept it a secret, showing little concern for himself.

He unintentionally regressed and faced significant challenges in reclaiming his former self. Aziraphale likely perceived it as a panic attack, a common occurrence for Crowley and a factor that increased the likelihood of his regression.

He becomes extremely sensitive to pain during regression, yet he makes an effort to conceal it. Even a minor injury like pricking his finger prompts tears and shakiness, but he refrains from admitting the pain. This sensitivity stems from the trauma of the angelic fall, where angels experience pain for the first time, and the impact of the descent can leave their bodies broken for hours or even days. While Crowley may have felt pain as a human, the fall marked the first instance he truly felt vulnerable and weak.

Snakes have limited color vision, primarily perceiving shades of blue and green (though there might be some variation). Recognizing this, Aziraphale purchases and knits toys for Crowley within that specific color range.

During regression, Crowley opts for a more concise term, referring to Aziraphale simply as 'angel.' Occasionally, he might use 'papa,' though it occurs less frequently.

When Crowley is happy, he engages in vocal stims, emitting squeals or spontaneous, joyful noises.

Crowley holds a preference for snakes as his favorite animal, yet he appreciates any plushie he receives, with a particular fondness for sheep and goats.

Crowley typically sheds tears either upon waking up or at the onset of regression. Throughout the rest of the time, he makes an effort to suppress his tears. When upset, he opts for deep breaths as a coping mechanism, consciously avoiding crying. However, this emotional suppression can lead to him becoming worked up.

While regressed, Aziraphale assists Crowley in tending to his plants. However, later on, Crowley becomes frustrated with himself for being kind to his plants, expressing displeasure with the unexpected benevolence.

During Crowley's regression, Aziraphale is inclined to prepare warm meals for him. Although Crowley doesn't eat often, he readily indulges in meals provided by Aziraphale.

Crowley has a star mobile above his crib that Aziraphale added, allowing him to gaze at the stars, a simple joy that consistently brings him happiness.
