The famine in Gaza has reached catastrophic proportions. People collapse on the street out of hunger. They resort to going to literal killing fields for maybe a bag of flour for their family.

i think the western world has made us so caught up on having a purpose and finding it for our whole entire lives. some indigenous cultures believe we’re alive and here just as trees and animals are: to be here and to beautiful and strange, to simply just be. we don’t need to achieve anything to be valid in our humanness.

Racism is a value born from your environment that you need to go through fire to get it out of you. There's no "I've stopped being racist" phase. There's only "I need to get it beaten out of me everyday" phase. It's a process that will never stop, shouldn't stop until we die.
