MINSOO FOUND THEMSELVES relax and fondly stare at the love of their life as noah giggled against their skin. just like every other day, an immense love and appreciation for the male and minsoo all but blurted out a proposal right then and there. but, the distraction of noah’s surprise made them pause, eyes widening slightly when they realised the surprise was inside their apartment. probably lucky, since minsoo had yet to plan the proposal or buy a ring. “it’s here ?” they asked softly and sat up in bed, intertwining their fingers with noah’s. ”show me !!”

HE COULDN’T HELP but grin at the sudden widening of minsoo’s eyes as he realized the surprise that was waiting for them was quite literally waiting just outside the doors of their bedroom. his stomach fluttered with anticipation as he pulled minsoo along by the hand out into the living room. there in the center of the floor was an open box with a small puppy, a red bow wrapped delicately around them as they wiggled trying to get out of the box. noah turned around and gestured towards the box. “ surprise !! ”

     she was tired , her bones were aching from what she assumed they did the previous night, arms tugging at the bed sheets as a makeshift cover before turning to the other , wondering if he regretted what had happened last night if he was awake. “ carter ? are you up ? ” 

CARTER HAD JUST barely woken up when his senses started to pick up that something was different. he wasn’t alone in bed as he typically was and he was pretty sure both he and his companion were bare of any clothing. just like that, memories of the night before flashed through his mind and carter inhaled sharply. oh no. it was then that yuri shifted causing carter to tense and wait to see what would happen next. what would she say ? what would he say ? he swallowed roughly before turning his head to look at her. “ yuri ... hi ... ”

There was something twisting in Hana’s gut as she stared at her phone helplessly. There was something wrong. The way Mina had been speaking in her text, the tone, the conversation itself ... there was something off about it and Hana didn’t know what it was. All she knew was that she could feel her throat constricting and her eyes were pricking with all the emotions that were swelling up inside her chest. She clutched her cell phone in her hands as her bottom lip quivered. Her apartment was suddenly too big, too quiet yet at the exact same time too small. It was suffocating. She needed to see her girlfriend -- to see her face to see if she was just overreacting and reading too much into words on a screen. She needed to see her, but she couldn’t do anything but wait by the phone. Hana pulled her knees into her chest, curling up into herself on the couch as her unfocused eyes stared ahead. She was messing it up somehow -- she was messing it up and she needed to fix it. Hana had spent the last four months falling desperately in love with a broken girl and while she had spent time helping her heal and loving her, she had given away parts of herself that she would never get back. Now she had holes of her own and she didn’t know where on Earth to begin patching them up ... not without Mina. Please text me back she pleaded in her mind. Although the real words she wanted to use she couldn’t quite form, not even to herself: Please don’t leave. Her phone started pinging and her heart leapt to her throat as she quickly opened the notification only not to find a message from her girlfriend. Instead it was notification after notification of some guy commenting on all of Mina’s photos. Hana dropped her phone and moved back from it, the tears she had been holding back overflowing now. She shut her eyes tightly and lifted her shaking hands to cover her ears. But her phone kept pinging -- each little sound a kick in her stomach until she lunged forward, rushing through her apartment to the bathroom to empty the contents of her stomach into the bowl.  ( @mvgicshp )

WITH A CONTENT sigh minsoo smiled and immediately wrapped their arms around their boyfriend as noah climbed on top of them. “morning baby,” they mumbled and pressed the other closer, still sleepy from just having woken up. at the teasing mention though, minsoo’s eyes opened a bit further. “a surprise ? for me ?”

 NOAH GIGGLED SOFTLY against minsoo’s collarbones before peaking at them from beneath his lashes.  ❝ g’morning, love, ❞ he whispered. the dark haired male chewed on his bottom lip to hide his growing smile.  ❝ i ... might have done a thing. it’s something for us, but a surprise for you. ❞ noah pressed a soft kiss to his lover’s lips and nudged him up.  ❝ come on, baby. come see! ❞
