He found him on the stairs, hunched, face concealed from the world. So he sat down, leaving some space among them. A shy hand reached for his back, placing its warmth against it. The other responded approaching the owner of the comforting hand, slowly closing the gap between their bodies. And so they stayed like that for a while, a time that seemed to last an eternity. No words exchanged. And with just that, the pain seemed to dilute in the air.
