I love how Granada Holmes says " I should not let any sister of mine take such a position", or something to that effect. I think it's also in the original story, my memory is shitty. I love how Holmes is always looking out for people with no one to lean on, as well as disenfranchised and poor folks. Basically anyone except pompous rich asshats.
The way that most of Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories’ most horrible villains are rich dudes that are abusive to women, in a time such as the 1880’s, compels me.
