Is anywhere else doing a sapphic route. I'm so bored that I feel like crying. All het players are exploring their options. Not only are the writers making it seem like my MC is playing the game but I have to watch my LI with someone else for months. Why is it that seasons that treat sapphic players poorly always happen to be fan favourites? I really wish the fandom could have our backs at least once mate. Literally nobody seems to care that LGBT players are getting forked over again. Can't we have a female LI appreciation month or something?

i've seen a few people who are doing claudia/bea routes! i love claud but i do hate how the game treats MC like a hoe for pursuing her when i have been loyal...to her . not to mention all the dialogue about theo & OG LI/casa guy getting pissed off every single time i flirt with her during challenges . it's getting old

there's only 9 episodes left, today's recoupling should've been a chance to actually get with the LI we want . instead we're forced to be with OG LI (or casa guy) all while he's being like "i know you have a thing with claudia...🥺" (i miss season 3 more than ever, being able to couple up with a girl in the second recoupling was amazing, should've been the standard going forward. idk why FB decided to regress)

heavy on the boredom. over half of the drama is centered around OG LI & MC . i think the only way i could make it possibly clearer i don't want him is to dive into the code & rewrite the damn game myself. and don't even get me started on sienna

with the amount of times the game prompts you to choose your "main LI," she could've easily been a bi rival that grafts on whoever you chose (like how valentina can take najuma on a date, not just the guys) of course that wouldn't fix her being annoying and one-dimensional, but at least i'd actually have a reason to care.

(it sucks that wlw players already have so few options to begin with, only to be further limited by having to choose one, way before you have to lock in a male LI . in one of my volume recaps i mentioned how the game was already forcing us to choose between claudia and bea)

i think this season is great if you're on a loyal OG LI route (or just burning the villa lol) and at this point it's just unpleasant for literally anyone else. i wish the same, & i try to call out anything "problematic," idk a better word for it, basically FB's piss poor representation of LGBT and islanders of colour. but i'm only one person, and unfortunately a lot of the fandom has more smoke for sienna than anything

and i think that lack of pressure put on FB to do better is why they're perfectly content with screwing over wlw players (not to mention i've seen some people who shrug it off as "well the show is based on straight couples!🤷🏽" ... even though the game barely follows the show anymore, but i digress)

i just hope that theo romancers (& ppl that wanted their casa LI but got stuck with their OG) who are rightfully mad as well are enough for FB to realise how stupid of a decision this was. being extremely generous and assuming the final recoupling is gonna be right at the beginning in the next episode...we'll have, at most, 9 episodes to be in an official couple with our LI. almost 1/5th of the entire season 🙄🙄🙄

an appreciation month for the ladies would be lovely though . i don't have any experience with organising stuff like that but june/pride month is in 2 months ! 👀

apparently if you’re on a hoe route and lied to OG LI about your casa activities , he won’t pick you at the recoupling

there’s still an issue though, MC didn’t lie, jin chose her and sienna is with kyle . i really hope this doesn’t cause issues later on 🤦🏽

thoughts on todays volume! in case you are unaware, android users got to play the volume very early, while ios users were given a late release. lmao. (i have both ios & android, but my phone is old & i didn’t want to add “slideshow frame rate” to a game that’s already glitchy af) somehow i managed to escape the horde of unmarked spoilers 🙏🏽

first off, felicity is stunning !!! i'm surprised she had an actual sprite rather than getting the zeph & cassius treatment . if she's not coming back that's such a waste of a really cool & pretty design

friend is really generous, jin . i get OG LI is trying to be nice or whatever but be so fr 😭 the only thing that sienna has been is a boring antagonist, she’s not shown not one single ounce of personality besides being delulu and coming at MC sideways (and it’s mainly because FB now struggles with writing multi-faceted characters…which is why they have AI allegations in the first place…)

speaking of delulu : theo , girl... how many times do i gotta tell you i'm all in on claudia unless they actually let us be poly at the end

MC somehow came out unscathed in movie night, plot armor for the win ! the guys pull MC for a chat before the boy's choice recoupling. the pit in my stomach when i read that.

theo flirts again, but this time our responses are flirty, rude af, or "you should focus on claudia." i didn't want to pick any of these but i picked the flirty one because at first i thought it could be "jokingly" said. interestingly enough, he says something among the lines of how he didn't expect MC to be interested in him because she's with claudia . i didn't want that to bite me in the ass later so i just replayed and picked the rude option (so it seems that it's "canon" for theo & claud to simultaneously crush on MC? at least if she's bi/pan etc.)

i saw this coming but still, this has to be a joke … 😭😭😭😭😭

there’s like what, three volumes left ? unless FB decides to drag this out with a “season 8.5,” this should’ve been a players choice recoupling (hell, it technically could've still been boys choice, with MC getting first pick for winning the heart rate challenge, or because she was selected by the viewers, literally anything lol)

it'd be one thing if OG LI was like, "i chose you because i wanted to keep you safe . even if we're not meant to be, i still care for you, i want you have a chance with the one you want," blah blah blah, but FB never lets us be in a friendship couple, he's just gonna keep pining for MC ... moving on

i forgot to screenshot the first part but it was basically claudia fantasizing about her and MC living in a huge house like the villa, MC was like "how are we gonna afford that"

i kinda love the cowgirl outfit. it's terrible, but i love it in a kitschy way . also i just kinda went with it because the mermaid outfit was clipping through MC's braids (as you can see the hat has some weird layering issue, but it's the lesser of two evils)

claudia's outfit wasn't paywalled, and i didn't get the gem option to give jin the viking outfit so he came out looking like this lmfaooooooo

logan arrived way too late imo. again, unless FB plans on extending the season (or he's not romanceable ?) people who get with him are gonna get less time than oliver, angie, youcef romancers. you know how little time that is ???

as for the whole hazel and liam thing ... horrible. , she really deserves better, like me 💋

thoughts on today's volume ! sienna is annoying, and it's even worse because she'll continue to harass you regardless of whether you're pursuing your OG LI or not . i'm not trying to get back with jin (unless claud's somehow still unavailable at the next recoupling)

MC needs a "leave me alone, bride of chucky" option. moving on

next up is snog marry pie. once again, theo is flirting with me despite MC showing no interest in him ? i'll talk more about this later. for now i had to let him know that i'm Mx. Steal Your Girl

and what is this black swan (2010) halloween costume from shein-looking ass dress ???!!!! i think this rivals the season 7 suggested prom monstrosity as the fastest "see other options" selection i've ever made. this outfit is not the one, two, three, or four

next challenge is "couple goals 2.0," a bit lazy there😖

for the most part i've glossed over liam's dialogue cus he genuinely has nothing of value to say, but what ?? i've never gotten steamy with theo . in fact, i barely see the dude because (outside of casa amor) him and claudia share the same "slot" for private chats and alone time. not to mention the only person in this entire villa who's ever done anything with MC outside of a challenge is claudia (my MC didn't even go in the hideaway)

once we came back from casa theo began having a really obvious crush on my MC (don't get me wrong, i think he's gorgeous. i just avoid him specifically because the overlap of his & claudia's routes) and i know some people have complained about claudia flirting with them in casa amor on a straight theo route. i don't know if this is intentional, or if this is just the game falling apart. knowing FB it's probably the latter

speaking of mess, i did expose sienna for hooking up with oakley . (mainly because she had the nerve and audacity to insinuate that i did bits with kyle in casa when we didn't even sleep in the same bed) i didn't reveal that it was theo who caught them, tho people should put two & two together based on him trying to get MC to stop talking lol . i kinda regret it, because oakley is trying to spin it as MC being the one that's somehow "out of control," but i'll just see how the next volume goes before i decide to do a replay. if they're exposed during movie night i'll go back and keep it a secret 🤷

enough of that though, we got a steamy scene with claudia 👀 plus some more confirmation that she's 100% focused on us ... i don't know when the next recoupling is but hopefully within the next couple of episodes, i'm tired of being forced to lead people on 😩

next volume is movie night ! i pray for some branching here, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was some ridiculous clip that can make everyone, even the loyal girlies, look "bad." throwback to vicky getting pissed at my movie night clip of giving bonnie a hug 🙄

did a really quick sienna edit, just to see if i could make her a real headturner lol

i softened her face a bit, tweaked her eyebrows & makeup

tried to make her scary af neon turquoise eyes more natural looking (is she wearing contacts ?) i just gave her one blue & one green

changed her swimsuit colour & gave her some earrings, they match her eyes ! (don’t ask how the gems in the centre are defying gravity… video game logic 😭)

with her hair i think they were trying to give blonde bombshell, pamela anderson or whatevs but it’s just so Meh … it’s shoddy so don't look too closely, but i didn’t want to spend longer than 1 min on this thing

but honestly i don't think she's ugly, FB just needs to stop rushing their designs

thoughts on todays volume ! FB is just playing in our faces with this narration (i swear this season must have been zodiac themed at some point , then scrapped for whatever reason)

and i didn't take screenshots of it so i'll just say it now: it's so funny that the "compatibility test" was just picking between two extremely obvious answers for OG LI or casa guy. i 100% preferred kyle's answers over jin's (seriously, whoopie cushions in the house ??) but i picked jin's anyways

like i predicted, MC already has to choose between claudia and bea (meanwhile, players interested in more than one guy have all the time in the world to graft ...😑)

there's really no point in taking the high ground here when talking to liam . like every other "antagonist" in this damn game, he won't remember us being nice to him and he'll act a fool regardless. of course i pushed him in the pool

claudia my loveee 💚 wlw players always get screwed over during casa amor , but i'm glad we at least had this conversation (as much as i love season 2, marisol could never)

i thought the new outfit was cute ... til i saw MC's body busting out the sides 🙄 way to show that the plus sized body type is an afterthought, FB

i know bea had to twist, but i cannot believe she picked liam . just setting herself up for failure, especially since she's well aware he's playing her (not to mention he's not even a good drama source, he's just an annoying af offbrand hamish)

thoughts on today's volume ! claudia and bea having a rivalry with your casa boy is so much fun, but i feel like we're gonna be railroaded into choosing one and dumping the rest very soon . the game can't even handle MC being interested in more than one OG LI, so ... a love square (or pentagon...or hexagon...) lasting longer than one volume is out of the question

the date with kyle was cute, the part about him reading words on MC's skin gave me "kassam reading your palm" vibes ... it's not palmistry at all, but still

claudia's sneaky date was even cuter, was she gonna drop thee L-bomb ? 🥹

i don't understand why mr and mrs was a casa challenge , but i'm glad each guy had unique answers that correlated to what they say on the date . i hope bea ends up in a happy couple without needing to be with MC (also we have the same taste in music ! techno)

i could not stop laughing when max won the challenge for emel & she ended up picking kyle . i would say "poor lad," but ehh ... lowkey he kinda brought that on himself for not throwing the challenge after she moaned kyle's name in bed 😭 i'm a nosey bitch, so choosing between eavesdropping on the date or spending time with claudia wounded me. in the end i went with claudia though

LITG S8 Spoilers

Disclaimer: Fusebox doesn't upload anything for future episodes anymore - no sprites, no outfits, no backgrounds, definitely no Casa Amor postcards. Booooo!

But I was going through the document I found during S7 which lists the S8 islanders names, and I'm kinda mad I didn't do this the first time I found it, because I found some additional info.

It's just crumbs, really, but it's better than nothing, right?

Spoilers under the cut!

Okay, we already know who the OG boys/girls are:

Theo, Oakley, Jin, Jack / Emel, Sophie, Luna, Claudia

Now I can confirm the Casa Amor boys are:

Kyle, Liam, Max (Emilio), Shawn

And the Casa Amor girls are:

Shannon, Hazel

All the Bombshells are:

Tyler, Hari, Bea (Beatrix), Logan

It's not really anything new, but we can draw a few conclusions. There are currently 4 couples, and there are 4 CA boys, which means of course there will be 4 couples going into Casa Amor. We don't know when the next bombshells are coming or if we're getting 1 or 2 (my guess is 2 - Hari and Bea, with Logan coming in later a la Toby), but for every bombshell that comes in before Casa, someone's gonna get dumped. One in, one out - two in, two out.

And with two Casa Amor girls staying in the villa that means two boys are switching. Which ones? We don't know, of course. I wouldn't be entirely shocked if MC's partner switches just because they have to do *something* a little different from previous seasons... at which point maybe the Theo/Claudia route opens up? Hmm... Just speculating, of course.

One final note is that it does seem like we'll be getting the heartrate challenge and Snog, Marry, Pie again - but those have become season staples so that's hardly a surprise. Oh, and don't be surprised if the box of "goodies" in the Hideaway makes another appearance...

i tend to ignore OG LI drama since i’m on a claudia route but … who tf is sienna ? 😭 i doubt FB has the guts to make an endgame love interest betray us , but i think it’s odd that OG LI didn’t tell you he had two dates

and that the same public that had him “dumped,” presumably for the sake of ~drama~ wouldn’t then pair him up with the person he supposedly had an actual connection with (no offence to bea)

it’ll probably end up being a misunderstanding somehow 🤷🏽‍♀️ like i’d be willing to bet real money he probably said some shit among the lines of her being a head turner for the other guys

all the available casa guys seem lovely , they’re all in different art styles but still adorable ... i will say RIP to those who thought liam was gonna be gary 2.0 . he ended up being shein, temu, aliexpress Hamish . the fact that he's the only one that looks straight out of season 6 doesn't really help

kyle though !! i’m twirling my hair babe . the painted nails (or press ons ? since it's only in his evening outfit lol) the dimples, his gold earrings in evening wear & silver earrings in swim wear 😮‍💨 i’m sticking with claudia, but if this season isn’t a dumpster fire i’d definitely replay for him (after the boring, hideous, sad male LI outfits in s7 i'm really glad FB is branching out with some different styles)

i also appreciate having the choice on who our bed partner is (casa boys, claudia, or alone) and being able to change our mind . i picked claudia both days
