@ademonwithinternet on my last day of work my mom took me to a candy store and i got ramune and hi-chew and pocky

i used to live in japan, and i loved those and now when i’m feeling bad or just. Not Right. having some makes me feel better

today has been a tiring day

today has been a tiring day, so the knight takes the demon’s hand and brushes through the demon’s hair with his fingers, gently, kindly, full of love

“let’s go to an orchard” the knight whispers, “let’s escape into a meadow, let’s go and not look back, for one moment let us escape”

and the demon smiles

the demon smiles and takes the knight’s hand, and then they are running together, and it feels like the exhaustion melts away from their bones. they are made of clouds and wind, and hand-in-hand they escape

the meadow they reach is green, and the grass so soft beneath their feet. the knight takes off his shoes - it is a day of freedom, after all - and wriggles their toes in the ground

“you wanna?” they ask the demon, and the demon giggles and gives a soft smile

“you’re ridiculous” the demon says, “i love you”

the knight smiles too and presses a kiss to the demon’s forehead

“and i love you my dear, the sweetest boo i know”

and then they are off again, except this time they are walking (hand-in-hand, and the sun is beginning to settle lower, and the air is warm and the breeze is fresh)

they come across an orchard, the pair of them, and the ground has changed to moss, cool and comforting on their feet, and the air buzzes with life (and a few gentle insects, well-supped on the fruit of this magical place)

it’s a wild orchard, abandoned by the years, and there are multiple types of fruit hanging from the boughs

the knight kisses the demon’s temple and quietly sets up a blanket for them to lay on

they stay that way until the stars come out and the summer night lays heavy and gentle in the air around them

there’s a shooting star

they slowly fall asleep

Today the knight is sad. Not in a terrible way, just in the way that one is when a friend is going through something and you can’t help.

the Demon, their dearest demon, is facing a trial. Not a fierce dragon, or a painful sliver (though those are both things that take great bravery and may cause pain), but a cavity getting taken care of at the dentist.

the knight wishes, like all the times that their darling demon has gone through something, that they were there to help her. She’s strong and brave, but the knight knows how much easier things are when you have someone beside you, ready to fight with you, protect you, care for you.

but, since the knight can only offer words, they promise to be there for demon. They are so proud of her, in way words can never quite say, so they watch her head off for her trial, and though sad that they can’t go with her, to hold her hand and whisper kind things, they smile, because their demon is the bravest soul they’ve ever met.

hey demon, i'm typing this on my phone while listening to "hope ur ok" by olivia rodrigo.

i miss you. i miss you SO much and i think about you every day. i know that me not being there to talk to you has been really hard, and i'm sorry. i wish i could make it easier

i feel like so much has happened, and so little at the same time. i think i'm really overwhelmed, but i'm still struggling to feel about it, so i'm not sure

i'm sure i miss you though demon, and i'm sure i love you.

i hope you've seen a lot of cute art; i know that when i've been on tumblr the short few times i've been able to, i've seen a lot of cute dsmp art. i think some of my favourite have been of ranboo and tubbo, and then some of techno.

i've been blowing on every dandelion i can, and making wishes. i don't really know that i believe that they can do anything, but it's gentle and peaceful so i do it anyways. i've also been praying for you a lot. you mean so freaking much to me, and i wish i could protect you from everything

i got some new eyeliner!! it's a light blue, and i've started experimenting with mixing my eyeliners together, and making different patterns. it's a lot of fun, and it's something to make this trip less boring. the next colour i plan on getting for eyeliner is either bright pink, or red, since i already have gold, green, light blue, dark blue, black and a white sparkly one

there's this song that i've been listening to a lot (besides olivia rodrigo's sour album askdlfkfjd) it's called Happy and Sad, by Kacey Musgraves. it's really pretty, and it just. hits me a lot. because i relate to it, and when i was visiting my friends that's exactly what it was like. i was happy, but it also hurt to see them, because i knew i'd have to say goodbye again but, because of going there, and the talks we had, i feel like i'm working through some things? so that's good

you know what demon? i'm proud of you. i'm SO freaking proud of you you make me smile and you make me laugh, and i love it when you talk about little things (and big things) i love your art and your writing and all your beautiful glorious thoughts

you are magnificent in my mind, and i wish i could somehow project how i see you, so that you could know just how much you matter to me i know you aren't perfect, and neither am i, so you don't have to worry that you're tricking me into believing something that's not true, or that you're a burden to me, because you aren't
