Stephanie Garber couples as parents, Caraval & Once upon a broken heart.

Scarlett & Julian

Would love their kid(s) unconditionally(like every parent should) but they would be those parents that always brings up their kids in conversations, and would rather be with their children than around anyone else.

Scarlett always knows what her kids are feeling(because of her abilities) and it is her favorite skill as a parent.

They definitely would take their kid(s) sailing.

Julian would be an amazing boy dad, teach his kid how to fish and stuff.

Scarlett feels immense fondness at the sight of their tiny fingers brushing Julian’s scar.

Scarlett let’s them sit on her lap while she’s handling her Empress duties.

Julian gives them piggy back rides when they go out and about in Valenda.

When they ask about their grandparents Scarlett and Julian look at each other before not so subtly sipping their tea.

They amaze and giggle as Julian tells them stories about Caraval, while Scarlett cringes.

Dante and Tella

They love to travel as a family.

Their daughter would run around their home wearing Legends top hats.

Legend would get their daughter her own horse or pony. (He would get her anything she wanted actually)

While Tella and Legend are tucking their daughter in, Dante lets her trace the heart tattoo on his hand until she dozes.

Their daughter inherits Tella's curls.

Tella plays adventure games with their daughter, and always encourages her to use her imagination and to never be ashamed of it.

They go on daily family carriage rides.

Evangeline and Jacks

Eva and Jacks definitely read their kid(s) bedtime stories. Even stories about their love story but don’t tell their kid(s) it’s about them.

Jacks is the best girl dad. Let’s their daughter sit on his shoulders anytime she asks.

They stay at the Hollow Inn at least once a year.

Their daughter loves Eva’s hair and always complements it. Like I imagine Eva sitting at her vanity and her daughter sitting beside her, completely in awe with her mother.

That cute blue dragon sneaks in to cuddle with their son/daughter eventually(after a lot of begging from Eva and their kid) Jacks gives in to permanently making it their pet.

Even though Jacks no longer needs his apples, Evangeline and their daughter always bake applepies for him.
