the fact that nobody ever clocked that ishido is gouenji implies that gouenji either a) did not have a professional football career as an adult so his face was not recognisable or b) he successfully manages to manipulate his appearance enough as ishido that nobody recognises him
since i refuse to believe that gouenji shuuya the flame striker himself did not play in the pro leagues prior to fifth sector, i choose to believe the second one. Conclusion being that
