Neurotypicals: don't you realize what youre saying doesn't make sence????? If WE could control my emotions, we WOULD???This isn't a choice!! We all want to be happy, but we can't achieve it, because there is something actually wrong with us!! We aren't just seeking attention, or over dramatic!!! And yes, we need special attention, because, yes. For a lot of us, it's a disability. We are unable to get the most out of life due to our mental illness. Telling us to "Just get over it and move on" doesn't do a goddamn thing! We want to. Oh, how we wish we could, but we can't! Don't you see that? Why can't you just try to understand?? Not all disabilities are on the outside! Try to think in our shoes! How would you feel if someone told you how you felt?? That they firmly believed you were wrong, and they knew better than you how you felt! Wouldn't that upset you????? Do you see the harm you're causing? You're not helping. You. Are. Hurting. You need to stop. We are valid. You are ignorant. -the mentally ill.
Teachers be like “I’m more than happy to accommodate students with mental illnesses or disabilities. I just don’t excuse any absences, offer extra credit, or accept late homework. Also my only office hours are off campus on the last full moon of every other month”
so today i found out that i’m allowed to carry a knife with me to school as long as it’s smaller than 3 ½ inches but i still can’t show my shoulders and if thats not a perfect description of american schooling idk what is
