“Full Circle” - Part 1

Here’s the first 4 pages of my new comic story! I’ve always wanted to make my own fan comic for many months already so I finally got around to doing it. It was quite challenging for me because I have never written or read fan fictions before so I had my best friend help me. We both constructed the plot together. She does not want to be credited/named but I do not want to take all the credit so I’ll just let you know that I am not the only one writing the story :)

Only the first page is coloured because at that time, I was experimenting if I wanted the whole comic to be in colour.

This is my first time doing a comic so it may not be very good. Do let me know what you think ^^ 

Please do not repost without my permission! I have this gut feeling that it will get stolen a lot but it kills me to watermark it. So please, I’m posting a clean piece for everyone to enjoy. I’m doing this for fun and as my hobby. I don’t gain anything from it so please don’t abuse it :(

Miraculous Moves Part.1

Finally got to doing this! So here’s the first part of my little storyboard. Its not much, but i’m hoping it will be a good learning experience!

I understand a lot of people are mad about this, thinking they white washed Rena, but here’s my theory.

It’s a cosplayer. This photo was put up close to Halloween, it could just be another girl who did a really good costume of Rena.

So I saw this posted to Instagram, and my phone isn’t the best and differentiating between similar but still different colors, but…

Is it just me, or is Rena’s skin tone lighter?

It’s not just you, she is definitely lighter with a peachy skin tone. On top of that, she has a different chin shape and her nose is flatter under the mask (meaning they have the same tip of the nose shape, but otherwise made it disappear). not to mention her overall face is smooshed closer together - the distance between her eyes and the end of her nose/mouth is way smaller as Rena. I would say her eyes are also a bigger doll shape, but I think that’s the HEAVY ASS EYELINER that’s tricking the eye.

And let’s not even talk about the chest-to-waist ratio that “Rena” has going on.
